Sneaky RV Ice Maker Install (267 bhs Jayco)

The reason for this install was due to the lack of counter space in our kitchen. We did not want a full time icemaker sitting there. We also did not have enough room on the side access cabinet so this sneaky spot was the perfect addition to our RV.

Why did you put it in the negative side? Should be on the positive (red) where battery power comes out.
If you look at Grainger and McMaster-Carr battery cut-off switches, they are all designed for the NEGATIVE polarity. This tells me the disconnect should be installed on the negative terminal.
Why on earth would you break negative, you should always break positive! That is code.

What is the charging cord? USB or their cord?

What should I do if my trailer has 2 negative wires coming from it, should I just put both of them on one side?
Why did you wire it in series??
Because they're 6v batteries, so wiring them in series creates a 12v system.
Are you still happy with the LatchIt 6 months later?
That is a horrible way to make a battery cable, take your time and get the right parts for the job
