    Yeah, that's how not to do it. First of all it's way too fast, do it slow and controlled. Second, you don't want to arch your back because this means you're engaging your lower back more and take tension away from the glutes. You are supposed to do this exercise with a posterior pelvic tilt and a rather flat back.

      @@ayhoom72 Yes, you do rotate your pelvic tilt posterior which means the backside points down and the front points up, so you have less of a spinal curve in your lower back. This helps to engage the glutes better since the lower back doesn't jump in as much to help out, and this position is also better for glute activation in terms of biomechanics.

      This exercise is not just to increase vertical jump though. It's also to increase force absorption when dropping from heights i can literally take 2.5 metre drops without any pain because of this exercise

    I do this one every second day with 22kg dumbbell, 200 times for each side , total 400 times , I saw the benefits in a week , my goal is to do it with heavier dumbbell or more reps , if somebody see my comment just try it out it’s crazy good exercise, I’ve done so many exercises from all CrossFit things to bodybuilding exercises, but this one is simple and so effective

      @@goldenhierophant2546 cool bro , keep going , try to do 10 reps each side and than rest and do it for 4-5 sets , eventually you will see the change in your biceps and shoulders in some days , next month do more reps and maybe heavier dumbbell , meanwhile keep the prank position ,
