Yes this was helpful. The directory change in ssh didn't work for me though, I had to go several directories up to find my volume1 and then into it. And I had to repeat the part where you create the local repo about ten times before I spotted you sneakingly clicked something in the lower right part of the screen. I spent about a day on the error "fatal: [...] does not appear to be a git repository". It turned out to be a casing issue: it is not Volume1, it is volume1. I do not feel that stupid about it considering URLs are typically not case sensitive, Windows file paths are not case sensitive and last but not least: references to volume1 in the DSM user interface (e.g. Hyper Backup) are capitalized! (to make them look nice?). This probably explains why my initial directory change attempt in ssh didn't work as well. I finally found it poking around in ssh noticing that casing mattered. This little story may save someone else a bit of frustration.

Hi, thank you for this video. I want to ask some questions if you let me. the vfd in the video is for 3phase motors, which is connected to 1 phase motor. You mensioned that, it will compansate. I'm not sure how its gonna compansate, Could you please explain it? since start coil and main coil winding resistance is different. Currents will be different, it could overheat the start coil. Thank you.
