The crowd was actually amazing! But only in certain sections. We might've been all teary from the American Football set right before this (Travis dedicates Spider in the Snow to them). I think if you wanted to dance, mosh, crowd surf etc., up front in the general admission section was the place to be. There were a lot of older/less spry folks in the VIP bleachers or dispersed around the sound board (which is where I was) that just wanted to enjoy the music at its perceivable best (and maybe toke up) without being pushed around. In that sense, the crowd was awesome in letting you do what you wanted, without obscuring your view, or getting too up in your face. I think everyone had "their band" that they conserved energy for and lost their shit to (Unwound for me). I love DPlan (and saw them 13 years ago!) but they, unfortunately, were not that band for me. That's why this footage exists. I will say though, Tim Kinsella did call us out during In the Clear, and I will forever regret not screaming the alphabet and diving into GA after.
