It sounds minimalist, but the rate of change (and the amount of chromaticism) is greater. In this way, it reminds me of the Hungarian spin on minimalism that began around the 1970s with composers like Zoltán Jeney (1943-2019) or László Melis (1953-2018), as well as the music of Petr Kotik (b. 1942), who is originally from Prague, Czechoslovakia.

For some people it was just tools and hammers, for Daddy it was a whole orchestra.

As a bit of trivia, this was recorded live, along with the other two cuts that would eventually make up side A and track B1 as well. It was all completely improvised, at a small but epic party at Bishop Castle, just outside of Pueblo, CO. It was later mastered by Ron Murphy at NSC, and if you look closely at the vinyl, you will see the NSC logo scratched into it. Thank you for uploading this.
