Just a lil Cajun from South Louisiana that's always looking for outlets for his creativity. I've been on some wild adventures so some of them are posted here. Just wanting to include everybody in my adventures.
Bamboo Forest - Cherokee, North Carolina 2024
It's my second time that I've been through this forest. I wanted to video it this time. It didn't feel as serene as last time. Not sure why. Maybe it felt like it was more crowded with bamboo last time. I also saw how folks were cutting them down as well. It's located in Oconaluftee Island Park which is kinda in the middle of Cherokee, or so it felt like. Folks would come here to BBQ and play in the water. It's a really nice place.

This is the Beaver Dance that they do before the hunt. As you can see, they love to cut up for their dances.

Again. I do apologize that I can't remember the exact names of the dances. But for sure, it's one of their birds. This was at Oconaluftee Indian Village that's on the other side of the Smokies from Gatlinburg. They also work on crafts in front of you. You can see a lot of their old houses as well.
Courtship Dance - Eastern Band of the Cherokees

I can't remember the name of this dance. But I remember it is a type of courtship dance. The males have to stand out and impress their mate. I sat in the Wolf Tribe area as I watched them dance. This is at Oconaluftee Indian Village in Cherokee North Carolina. It's on the other side of the Smokies from Gatlinburg Tennessee.

Finally had the chance to go to the Oconaluftee Indian Village in Cherokee. I really loved seeing how they do their crafts and their houses. Their dances were pretty cool. Here is some of their Bear Dance.

Trillium Gap Trail - Grotto Falls - 2024

We went along the Trillium Gap Trail to see Grotto Falls. At first, the trail didn't seem it would have been that long. I guess it was because of the slight incline, but it was a really beautiful trail. I went back and recorded the first impressions as you walk to Grotto Falls, and recorded what it feels like to stand behind it.

Sorry that my controller's mic was on. A friend had come to help me a week ago to beat it. When I had first started it, it was an impossible effort to get through them. It was like, how can you go through all of them with just one attempt. The next few tries; I had gotten better, but still couldn't make it. I was worried that I would die on my first playthrough for the ending. I did not as this is my first playthrough of the ending. I know I was too hard on myself when I would die on easy fights. Damn that takes me back, can't tell you how much happy that made me to hear this music again. Put a genuine smile on my face. And the heightened pace of my heartbeat as it got faster was nice touch. 😅 Great job though!

dude so relateable i couldnt beat the final boss like 2 years ago now i can but just cant get my hands on those emeralds :( i can only get up to the 2nd one
Way back when, I remember playing the bonus rounds. Couldn't continue like you can like Sonic Origins. It was the last two bonus rounds. I thought maybe if I had a second player, I could do it. When I tried, I still failed. There was a certain strategy that I found out to use. All these years later, I remembered them. And all of them were pretty easy, except those last two. It took me a while to remember. The second to last one has a lot of jumping to certain areas at certain times. The last one, you just gotta be careful with those bombs, be more conservative. When the single rings are all over the place, just run like in a circle going to the ceiling and back to the floor. Can't really use Super Sonic for the last boss though. I never knew about his dipping. And I so tried. It would take forever to get to that stage. I was so tired when I got to those zones. Really hated that flying one.

You remember how to play this?
It plays better on the PS5 than the PS3. Reminds me of how the Sega Genesis played. The PS3 one had lag or something. It's part of the game Sonic Origins. I spent many hours playing Sonic back then. That was after Mario and before RPGs.

I'm going to have to retire him next year. I always had trouble with him since he was new. I already retired so many. I've seen a couple of ways that might fix them. I just don't have the time and am forced to keep putting it off another year again.
