TZ iBoat! The cartography to always carry with you!
Cartography is essential in fishing, practically in all techniques. The integration between our Furuno navigation tool and iPhone or iPad can be very useful, providing constant access to fishing zones, points, and screenshots. In this video, I introduce a powerful yet user-friendly program that turns your iPhone or iPad into a valuable fishing companion.
Soon, there will be another video covering the weather forecasting feature available on TZ iBoat, which I consider to be the best on the market.

    You showed the difference between individual frequencies, is it better to be scanning and displaying the range or try and identify a specific Frequency that works for your depth and fish species? Do you lose info when you get a range of frequencies on your display? eg set it at 28-60khz or find a specific khz that works for you?

    On my fcv 588 connected to b260 , can i adjust colour palette to highlight those hard rocks green similar to your example, using 50khz lf cone?

      In your FCV588 I don't think you have the "color expansion" function. This thing is done only with that function.

    Why then can fish finders show fish arches next to a shallow area? Doesn’t it depend on the relative hardness of the object? There are more colors being displayed which indicate hardness. Those colors help to form the picture of the fish and other objects.

    • @MrFishFinderMan
      @MrFishFinderMan Месяц назад

      Hello, the hardness of the bottom covers any reflection of any target, which will always be weaker. In shallow water, you see the arches because the fish are always higher off the bottom. Otherwise you wouldn't see them.

    MrFishfinder, Furuno engineers, they did a color range expansion. But wouldn't it be nice if they added color assignment. If we could assign color to the signal strength value returned from the water, we could make fish discrimination, calamar discrimination better according to the color.

    • @MrFishFinderMan
      @MrFishFinderMan Месяц назад

      I don't think it can be useful. The "color expansion" mode is used to highlight the differences on very powerful echoes, such as the background one. In fact, something is lost on the targets. To see squid and targets well you just need to use black background, gain and clutter.

      Hi, no, sorry. A hump will form under the red band, which will then increase in thickness at the hole. Thank you very much for the attention.

    Hello Mr. Davide, I have a GP1871f with a B45. My usual fishing range is from 0 to 50 m. and always have zoom activated. Do you think that I should better change it to Shift? And another question, for those deep ranges, better HF or LF? Thanks in advance, Pablo

    • @MrFishFinderMan
      @MrFishFinderMan 9 месяцев назад

      Better SHIFT, always. Deep ranges= LF. If you need analisys for bottom, use HF, for search fish, LF.

    Buonasera Davide, l'impostazione della velocità di trasmissione "TRANSMIT RATE" deve essere al massimo, cioè "20" o nell'opzione automatica "auto"

    • @MrFishFinderMan
      @MrFishFinderMan 9 месяцев назад

      Meglio in manuale a 20. Non dovrebbe cambiare nulla in auto, ma per sicurezza meglio fissarla al massimo.

      È molto utile tradurre in inglese, soprattutto quando si tratta di dettagli tecnici. Naturalmente sarebbe ancora più utile avere più visualizzazioni e da più paesi se entrambi i canali avessero i sottotitoli in tutte le lingue. Sono tutti video molto interessanti con informazioni che non sono state raccontate altrove!!!! Io, come molti altri, ho imparato come regolarmi e cosa vediamo sul nostro profondimetro. Non dimenticate inoltre che gli utenti più anziani raramente conoscono lingue diverse dalla propria lingua madre, indipendentemente dalla nazionalità, ma tutti sanno usare RUclips
