They allow this sort of thing on here???
Now start screaming into a mic and you have half of a punk band
The amount of truth in this statement. The amount of anger that exudes from punk rock is unreal yet so relatable.
I hear ya bro
PJ is always a solid choice
I can achieve that crappy sound with a crappy guitar. What's your point?
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 why so serious???
take your time. take even more time than that. find out what feels and sounds right for you. I love this leadwork in practice because you generally stop sounding like a teacher and you start sounding like who you are and want to be :)
Thanks!!! It's taken a long time to get to this point in my playing and my abilities. It's often times hard to really let go of your inhibitions which is what I'm working closer and closer to. Been a long time coming where I actually care what I'm playing in correspondence to what's being played behind me lol
You had the sound, you had the looks, I was waiting for you to treat us to your voice!
I know where I fall short and the vocals is one of them on this song lol. He does and absolutely phenomenal job and my lead singer does too. I'll get a video of us covering it and I'm on backup vocals.
How often do you have to change them
Honestly it depends. Once I start hearing rattling after my tone is gone, I know I've got to change them. Power fluctuation while playing as well. Also depends on how hard you push them. Wide open at 10 the whole time or do you have your stuff at 5-7??
In this setting the 1960 sounds better. I have the 1960 tribute and it is great guitar with Gibson 57 pick-ups. What I don’t like is the very slim neck. I prefer a beefier 50’s neck and was interested in the 1959 Les Paul. Hope do they compare?
Ok I'm a strat neck guy. I'm gonna get that out there right off hand so I always gravitate to a slimmer neck. When I first played the '59 it felt like a baseball bat. Now, it feels a lot better. I feel that since I've started playing a wider range in guitars. I tend to play acoustic, my PRS, my strat, my Les Paul, and my Tele now. Before I only really played one guitar. It actually feels nice. The beefiness isnt such a stark contrast now.
@@MyImprizonedEmotionz thank you for your answer. I have a Japanese strat, American tele and Squier jazzmaster deluxe and that one has the most comfortable C shape neck! I am playing over 45 years and my experience is with thicker necks you have to play more accurate!
Oh absolutely!!! SG's are the only exception to that rule tho. If you're heavy handed as am I, it's hard to keep the neck straight 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I've also been playing for almost 20 years collectively. Took a 7-8 year hiatus from playing due to military and life in general. Back to playing and learning and enjoying it more than I ever did
Nice! I have the AC30S1 creamback. Love that amp.
Heck yeah!!!! Dude there is something to these cream backs man. I never thought there was such a difference in speakers but boy was I wrong
Nice! What guitar is that?
It's a Fender Vintera ii 1960's strat!! An absolute killer and instantly became my number 1!! Happy thanksgiving and holidays to you
@ that’s awesome. Happy holidays to you too.
I can imagine Tom in heaven looking down watching these two guys playing with a big smile on his face😊
Truly one of the biggest compliments I've ever received man!!! Thank you so so much!!! It's one of our favorite songs!!
Restless soul..enjoy your youth
Like Muhammad, hits the truth
I saw 7Mary3 in December of 1998, when they opened up for Aerosmith at the SIU Arena in Carbondale, and frankly blew them away.
7mary3 is so so good. Their new album dropped last year was pretty good too!!! Still sounds just as raw as their first album
Hell yeah man!! You sound great and Neil has always, always been my favorite!
Uncle Neil is always a good one to hit you right in the feels with a stone cold rocker!!!
We should all take heed to these lyrics!❤
Yes we should!!! "KEEP ON ROCKIN IN THE FREE WORLD" 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Miss ya brother. Maybe some day on down the road the planets will align and we can work together. I had to jump off that train and move on (never had a problem with that my entire life lol)
It may be sooner than you think brother. Stay tuned 😎😎😎😎
Miss ya too man. You know you always made my day seeing that smile 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Damn man, you're pretty good. I believe you could get famous. Keep doing what you're doing. 🐦⬛👍
Thank you!!!! I truly appreciate it!!
I Love This!!! ❤
Thank you so much!!!
I tried to like but it didn't work. I hope you have a nice day a maybe next time you scream the lyrics.
Thank you man!!! I'll do my best to sing it and play it next time 🤣🤣
Awesome video. I feel you on strats. Got my current one in January and it’s my main guitar. Keep up the awesome videos.
I'm absolutely in love with strats and strat feeling guitars!!! There's something special about that feel. Whether is the neck profiles, the neck thickness, or what have you, I just feel more flexibility with one!! Les Paul's are fantastic but they are kind of narrow in ability comparatively
@@MyImprizonedEmotionz I have a Les Paul as well. I like it for some things. When I do Everlong or certain songs I go it. But first I grab is my Strat.
Dude I am the exact same but even Everlong I'll grab one of my strats instead 🤣🤣🤣🤣 maybe I'm just weird lol. But I will rip the Les paul with Neil Young and Deftones and Chevelle man!!!
Rad! Have you tried an SE silver sky? After all the good press I finally tried one out and now it's making me neglect my real Strat. Killer guitar.
I have tried a Silver sky SE and man those guitars are so so so good!!!! I'm actually working with my cousin to do a side by side with my Vintera ii. I've picked up and played probably close to 20 total PRS guitars and not a single one was bad!!!
That DOD Gunslinger is a dope pedal!🤘
Dude I love my gunslinger!!!! Got it when I was looking for a fulltone mosfet in disguise and boy this thing is killer!!! And Stone Gossard plays with one or Atleast had at one point lol
Stopped playing for ten year's and just started back again i have a strat from the 80s like your one two tone
Dude I had a ten year playing hiatus as well!!! Only pulled my guitar out once a year maybe twice. And I'm glad I've dove back head first into it now!!! I'll be doing an actual amp review of my two tone strat through my vox and orange as well and do a comparison between the two soon. Both of my strats are my number 1's lol
This is awesome Bro! I really enjoy your videos and playing! Keep up the great work and keep em coming 💪💯
Thanks cuz!!! One of my favorite things about playing is always learning something a little different or new about a song in some way.
Thanks for this I've always wanted to learn this
Not a problem!!! I'll post a better version either later today or tomorrow. This was my first time really messing with it to transpose to drop d
That sounds AMAZING!! Keep up the great work!!
Thank you so much!!! Ive got more upcoming with this guitar so be on the lookout for those!!!
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thanks!!!!
Try bending up to the root note. Good job....don't forget your pinky..it's very useful..❤
Thanks for the tip and compliment!!! I tend to forget about my pinky sometimes 🤣🤣🤣🤣 almost like I'm trying to be a sophisticated guitar player lmao
I have the same guitar in the Cherry color. I currently own 7 guitars. The Epiphone Les Paul Tribute Plus is hands down my best playing and sounding guitar. My other guitars are Gibsons
They are truly one of the most underrated Les Paul's in the entirety of Epiphone's catalogue. Absolutely love mine!!!
🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Awesome love it!!
Thanks!!! It's prolly top 5 H songs for me of all time!!! Fantastic band!!!
That was dope
Thanks man!!!!
Love my Les Paul. I'm on my 2nd one. First one was a 2000 Standard, and my new one is a 2021 Classic worn Ebony. Had to sell my first one to pay hospital bills when my twins were born.
Dude I the classics are really nice guitars for the price man!!! They are so good!!! And I typically love a more a dull/satinish finish typically. And I have been in the same spot having to get rid of a guitar too. Mine was a 2017 Taylor 717 😔😔😔😔 I'm not sure I'll ever get one quite like it again unfortunately
Did the volume stay fairly level this time around??
You S U C K
I love that song and you play it well on your guitar
Thank you so much!!!!
Beautiful guitar man 🔥
Thanks man!!! I love this guitar!!! Her name is Betty Blue!!! 💙💙💙
subbed/liked man lemme say this. That fire you have. DO NOT LET IT GO OUT. you keep playing. if its fueled by chemicals get rid of the chems. Otherwise the fire will burn away everything you love. And youll be reduced to ashes. like me
No chemicals other than natural dopamine release of connecting deeper with music man. Love this song. There's more to come with this guitar especially man. I appreciate the kind words and sub!!! Thank you thank you thank you!!!
Great video. Content is good. Need to bump up the gain on your voice overs. I thought that there was something wrong with my earbuds, or volume settings on the laptop for a second. Guitar audio was at a perfect volume.
thanks for the feedeback Brian!!! Ive heard that a couple times now with this video so i think next time im going to export, double check with bluetooth earbuds and then go from there.
Good stuff
Thanks man!!
Love the bluey shirt too!
Thanks buddy!!! I hope you guys been doing well bro!!!
Such a droney dissonance to this!!! 😍😍😍
I thought the same thing!!!
