    The pastor's first job is to help add congregants, the congregants' (church populations) first job is to share the gospel and bring new members to the church, if they don't want to share the amazing gift they have been given, why do they even need a church?

    “ Time”is the stage that you are missing between stable and decline. Long periods of stable ministries that focus on internal structure. Time leads to forgetting why we started the church in the first place. Time also gives a false sense of when the next stage will come. It obscure our ability to see even what stage the church is in.

    This is very crucial as other churches have used God to profit millions and billions from it. And I have never seen megachurches helped the poor (which falls under the second commandment love thy neighbor as thyself). So for me, it is an individual relationship that a person must work. Church and people in it can help by encouraging but most of the time, it's much better to just go directly to God amd asked for guidance

    Then your position doesn’t hold water. If god existed and wanted to use the church to demonstrate his love to the world, then he just WOULD. The fact that it hasn’t happened ever only demonstrates that there is no Christian god that loves the world. Either he is apathetic, or too weak to demonstrate his love.

      Jesus already died to save humanity. It is however, a man's choice to venture into it or not (believe and work on it). Not easy but that's how faith is

      @cassievining340 2 месяца назад

      @@Shiningami_Jem there is still debate as to whether Jesus was a real person or a character combination of several doomsday prophets of the time. Either way, a doomsday prophet being crucified isn’t evidence for him being divine. Nor is it evidence for a god. Everything in the Bible was written well after the supposed life of Jesus, and were secondhand oral accounts of supposed eyewitnesses. There’s no reason to believe any of it. Faith would absolutely be required, as well as suspending all logic and reasoning. I can no more believe that than in Elf on a shelf.

      I only said this because he used the word christian instead of Catholic. The Apostles Creed should not be modernized, or santitized to fit a denominational world view. The Early Christian Church was The Catholic Church meaning it was One (not many not divided into denominations) , it was Holy, built upon the Apostles making it Apostolic. That Church exists to this day as the visible society and Kingdom of God established by Jesus Christ on the Rock St. Peter and his successors, who sit on the seat of St. Peter in Rome. Christ is the Only Head of His Church and He has set His authority on Peter and his successors.

It's people over charging people dipping there hands in the cookie jar hoping to get a piece. If you got these cars for nothing where's the proof that you gave these cars to none drug active, hard working family that are trying to be better? Minimum wage is retarded. You get paid according to the value you provide. If an employer were to only pay an employee $3 p/h, would that be unjust? Yes? What about if the employee only brought in $4 p/h in value? Still unjust? Would you still require some sort of mandated minimum wage? Should they be getting $15 p/h? If so, you know they'll just lose their job. Which means they'll lose the opportunity to improve and increase their value. Which means they'll stay poor. Minimum wage is worthless.

    I feel so many are being held back by the church because of it tradition, red tape, or committees. Look at any community are you will find a grass rot’s movement that has been fueled by faith to launch out independent of the church . It’s great when a church like your moves out of the harbor. It is massive ship and can do some great things. But don’t underestimate the power of a small nonprofit that runs out of the harbor with speed and intensity. Not giving up on the church just see our selfs as a support to it. Love to hear your thoughts on this.
