Ok so when you mentioned smelling more peachiness than plum - I've been reading a little bit about how they make the chemicals that go into perfumes. I learned they make a LOT of fruit accords out of just a few simple molecules. So, typical synthetic plum notes are not far off, chemically, from what they use for other peachy-fruity notes. Kinda cool!

my favorite part of your unboxings is when you unwrap the cellophane (Dior's the best)...You look so pensive and worrisome (little things make me happy). Now, what's this perfume... Nothing out of V.S. is good after they rid all their great "Body Sprays" from the past...e.x. Pear" ...this friend of mine, Heather, well... forget it. Yo!...Do a vid where you pay for a box of Gummy Bears with a check...;)

It smells 95% the same as Gucci Alchemist Garden: A Song For a Rose, so for me, there is no reason to buy Jo Malone. I was hoping for a more exotic or more unique scent.

Loved this review! I haven't smelled any of the Dior Poisons. Marzipan, jasmine, and vanilla with everhthing else sounds lovely. I notoced those were the same two perfumers who did Lolita Lempika edp. Big fan of their work! Btw I love how you do your makeup, especially your lipstick. Take care! ✌️👽✨️

Hi Christine: Thank you for reviewing this new Jo Malone fragrance. I went to Sephora today and tried it because I like (and wear) Malone’s Velvet Rose Oud. I agree with you that this new fragrance lacks complexity. On the plus side, it has nice projection and lasts several hours. It’s a safe blind buy for someone who enjoys wearing Velvet Rose Oud.

Just FYI ... Drakkar Intense is NOT a flanker of Drakkar Noir. Drakkar intense was released in 2022 for the 50th anniversary of the original Drakkar that came out in 1972. Drakkar Intense was meant to be a modern offering of the Drakkar DNA. Both Drakkar Noir and Drakkar Intense are flankers of the original Drakkar.

I think this is for people who dig like Montale intense cafe vibes…Montale isn’t complex either to me it’s quite synthetic and linear but still a gorgeous blend. Total powerhouse too. Jo Malone fragrances I think are supposed to be paired down hence the simple titles of the scents. I just got to spray it quick in store but I quite liked it.. but I also love Myrhh and Tonka. I’m a Jo Malone cologne intense fan for sure. Tom Ford hasn’t been doing much for me lately wasn’t crazy about cafe or vanilla sex. I miss like 2014-2018 Tom Ford 😭. But we all have different tastes that’s what so great about the frag world. Thanks for your thoughts I subscribed 💜

Back in the mid 80s during college, this smelled so good and sexy. Colleen (from Nashua, NH was a gf of a fraternity brother. She was very pretty and everyone wanted to “play scrabble “ w her wearing that yellow Giorgio (my girl wore Oscar de la Renta!) Funny u should say trash, cuz Colleen was fighting w her guy and kissed everyone at a party one night to piss off Dave something fierce… She also was too cheap to buy her own fries at McDonald’s in Tokyo and later used my sister’s shampoo filling the bottle with water as not to tell…. hmmm. Her sillage and projection during those cocktail parties was mesmerizing. I wore the og Pierre Cardin pour monsieur and melted my big haired dance partners.
