Day Two. Time to give this my review. 17: The loneliness still persists, and the patient is contemplating whether or not to continue on this path. After some consideration, he goes down the path of living. 18: The loneliness is overwhelming yet comforting all the same. The dread and sadness is still here, but it’s on a higher scale now. This is one of my favorite tracks so far. 19: With the way the track cuts out on either the left or the right ear, I believe that this memory is becoming increasingly distant. Soon, he will forget that he ever had this memory. 20: The memories of his glory days are beginning to fade away because of time itself. The patient in question savors the remaining glory days that are also slipping away from him. 21: The lights are fading out and he will follow suit eventually. This is where the cold, bitter begins to set in. 22: This flower will fade and die and there will be nothing left of it. That’s the patient at this point. He is that flower. 23: Same as track 21, but the lights are growing dimmer and colder than before. When the lightbulb eventually fails, he will find himself embedded into an inescapable darkness. 24: I’m not sure why, but this puts me on edge. With the way that it sounds, the patient is still fighting back against the disease. It’s a fruitless endeavor, I tell you. 25: He is attempting to remember the names of his family members in the photos despite the fact that his mind is becoming more fizzled by the minute. 26: Even though he is still being consumed by his painful past, he still wants to remember such a thing. He still cherishes the amount of time he has left and will spend it with the ones that appeared in the photos. This is the best track of ADDBAC and you can’t convince me otherwise. 27: The time remaining grows shorter, but the patient will last and endure the pain that is to come with the ones he loves the most. He has never stopped loving them. 28: Now the whole mind is rotting as it is being consumed by dementia itself. There is nowhere to go except all the way down. 29: While wishing to return to summer past despite of how hurtful it is, the pain of living in the present continues to hurt our patient. The details of this memory is fizzled to the point where it can’t be recognized, and the patient lets it go altogether. 30: This is only the beginning of the horror that is to come… Is it just me, or does this get more interesting as I progress through the days? Still, I wonder what Day Three will be like. Alright, see you later. Lacey

I noticed that in the final section of 7e, the music gets louder until the very end, which contrasts the cover slowly fading to black and white. This realization hit me like a brick.

I listened to the entire year and man I love it so much, it improved so much! The start was pretty fire, the new I2 is amazing, and the new covers look perfect. Overall I can't give enough compliments to the new Year 4, keep the amazing work up!

I just want to say I looooove the little intro to this year. It's beautiful. I literally can't stop rewatching the into part But besides the clipping issues and stuff, I love this new version! I think natmos and redux is the album I've listened to the most because of how many fan remakes get made and stuff lol and now this TwT 80s and older music in general is my favorite period of music so I don't really mind. You've outdone yourself with this one, though!

January 5th. Today is my 20th birthday as I sit here and listen to this on my phone. It’s time to start the year off strong with ADDBAC Day One. 1: Before the sense of sadness and dread arises, the patient is enjoying living in the moment. I’d imagine that this song was used when he danced with his wife to this song long ago. Oh, the days of yesterday. 2: Deacon Blues by Steely Dan is one of the greatest songs of all time and I will die on that hill. The patient recalls the intro to the song, but seems to forget how the rest of it goes. 3: I’m not sure of what to describe this track, but I will say that this is where the dread begins to set in. 4: While this is Gaucho, the melody doesn’t seem to line up to the original. The patient tries to remember how it goes to the best of his ability, but notes are playing in the wrong places. 5: He remembers being young and rebellious doing acts that would’ve ended his life early on. But in the present, there’s no way that he’s going to die young now. 6: After The Love Is Gone, but it’s starting to become fragmented beyond recognition. Even if he starts at the beginning of the song, it won’t register the same way it used to. 7: With the disease taking its toll, the patient spends most of it in isolation. But I’m not sure if he knows that he is currently in that state. 8: I thought that this was going to sample Holding Back The Years, but it turned out to be a different Simply Red song entirely. The song chosen? Suffer. How ironic. 9: The patient is now looking through old photos and he’s trying his hardest to remember the names of the people in them. They do come to mind, but slip away quickly. 10: Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic, but it keeps cutting off at random intervals. The patient is starting to forget the little things that made his wife magical and why he decided to marry her in the first place. 11: Along with the pictures of the past, there are many pictures of the present and the ones that have yet to come. But when you do take a photo in the present, it will eventually become the past. 12: The same song as track 9, but the loop is shorter. All of those pictures taken will lose their context without the patient even knowing it. 13: The patient attempts to fight back against the disease, but fails to understand why each time. 14: The same song as track 11, but the title’s words are played around with and it is longer than the original. The beautiful pictures of the future may never come. 15: Track 6 returns, but it’s in a more deteriorated and fragmented state as the patient tries to recall this song from memory. Eventually, he gives up at the end. 16: With all of the names, faces, songs and memories rapidly slipping away from him, he sits all alone and begins to ask himself: “When will it all end?” Overall, a solid album with not a bad track in sight. I wonder what will await on the second day? I guess I’ll have to find out. Alright, see you then. Lacey
