Our air duct doesn’t have a screen. It has a door type flap that swings out when you turn the blower, that’s why the lint easily flies out after you run the brush and blow it. I don’t just run the brush once. I run it as long as there’s dust and lint that’s coming down and out the pipe duct. I appreciate your comments of concerns, though. Thank you.

That didn't save you anything. Real duct cleaners have a rotating brush that actually dislodges packed up lint. This is how you lose your property to a fire because you're cheap AF.

All this will do is simply blow the loose lint through the duct. You need to go on the roof and remove the screen, then use the proper brush and rods to actually clean all of the lint that is stuck to the inside walls if the duct. You have now created an even worse Fire Hazard because the lint was blown to the end of the cap on the roof and is clogging the duct even more. You saved $100, but caused a house to burn down.

That's not enough. I tried this with a good shop vac, and it didn't do anywhere near as good a job as a brush does. You can get a brush for this for like $20, maybe $30. Yes it's money, but it basically makes the whole system as clean as it was when new.

I wouldn't assume it does as good of a job as brushing the duct but it seemed like it did something
