What does it mean the dog has?
Cats pant that way because of anxiety due to new environments. If that isnt the cause it can be due to heat exhaustion .
It’s normal for it to happen after fast running. It’s like when humans run fast and make noises

This doesn’t usually happen, cats are desert animals that can withstand massive temperature fluctuations so they normally shouldn’t have to pant like dogs do

My cats are panting after play/running ... Can it do harm?
Better ask a vet, some breeds have problems with their hearts
If your cat is panting after it plays you shouldn’t be to worried it just means your cats are very hot. (but I definitely would mention it to your vet next time you go). have a good one!
Future vet here, and currently studying cats and dogs. If your cat is panting after play time or running, it’s pretty common. Don’t feel worried as long as they aren’t panting without any kind of workout etc. however panting after running is expected if they are overexerting, they pant if they are hot or out of breath. Now I’m not a certified vet so I don’t know alot of knowledge yet so 😅 try to offer them some water if they do pant. (I forgot to mention this: it’s completely harmless as long they are running, playing, hot climate. Etc. )

Hi, thanks for the video. I'm a girl living in South Korea and my dog has been diagnosed of Pulmonic Stenosis. However, there aren't many vets in South Korea who know exactly about this heart disease. I need opinions from as many vets. I wonder if you can spare some time to watch ultrasonic image of my dog's heart and see how serious it is. I desperately need your help. Thanks so much! Here is the link for ultrasonic video. @

Hi there, I have a pug with severe SAS, we were told that pugs are too small to do this procedure on, I am wondering if this surgery was successful with this pug? We are very interested.
Hi Brittany, we have performed the procedure on 2 dogs around 5kg, and another at 7.5kg. I do not think they are too small at this weight. I also having a problem with my cat, he had a pulmonary edema and his only 1yr old to have this kind of sickness. The doctor remove thefluid from his lungs but unfortunately after 2 dys its coming bk. What did you do the case of this cat? Please let me know. Tnx and well appreciated.
gigi ann Dalman is your cat ok? The vet can prescribe diuretics for the fluid but it’s important to find out what kind of fluid it is (blood, urine, water?) and find out the cause.

Correct, it's a great machine for Specialist level cardiology. We're lucky enough to have some advanced stuff with ours, like speckle tracking and real-time 4D echo.
What was the diagnosis from the biopsy? Do you have an echo of this mass?
We have an echo - see the new upload coming shortly. The biopsies showed a population of atypical cells possibly of neural origin. No evidence of metastasis so we have performed a minimally invasive technique to return caval inflow as a palliative procedure.
