Minha cidade natal da qual pouco conheço pois meus pais se mudaram com destino ao interior de SP qdo eu tinha pouco mais de 1 ano de vida. Bela região, no norte pioneiro do Paraná, muito próspera na agricultura.

Essa parte cultural é tão linda,as crianças ,muita emoção.Que os governantes de lá não deixem a violência tomar conta do Pelourinho,essa é uma região turística ,cuidem pra que não morra essa beleza .

Trem vindo de Cornélio Procópio para Santa Mariana; na passagem de nível de acesso para Fazenda Cotrim e Vila Popular; e dizer que o cidadão foi longe para filmar; digamos, saiu da casa da Mamãe (minha Tia) e caminhou +- 200m. KKKK

O que foi feito com a estação de trem de Santa Mariana! Nunca ví nada tão funcional e tão simples como uma estação de trem! Muita saudade do tempo em que o trem era nosso principal meio de transporte!

Facts are Majority of them in the west are white, second mulatos (black mix with white), third Amerindian (Amazon indians), minority cafuzos (black mix with amerindian), blacks and asian (japanese, chinese and from india)

Bahia is only in the eyes of foreigners (Gringoes) a black state because in their country, they are being taught that it is without questioning or doing their own research. Fact is Bahia (like other north eastern states) have many black/dark skin people, but professors who knows how to research their true DNA have proven that majority aren't full black at all. Majority are blacks mix from European (Dutch, French, Portuguese, British and Irish) and Natives roots. Minority are full black.

No this is not candomble or a ritual. this is just dance. In candomble they wear the white hoop dresses and have various ritual items or they are singing and chanting. Just because black people are dancing to a drum does not mean its a ritual.

OK, so these folks are from the Muntu Dance Theater of Chicago and the African American Dance Ensemble of New York. I know some of those folks, well! They must be in Bahia for performance, and or, discovering their Afro-Brazillian roots. That explains it!

This is a harvest dance of the Mandingue culture from Guinea. I recognize it as "Kassa," a harvest rhythm. This goes to show that pure African drumming is found all over the world! This djembefola (djembe player) is good! I

Typical of Brazil...people on the street playing African drums..gathering..having fun on a sunny day. Please don't trivialize Condomble because you are clueless ("condomble..or whatever...."). Is is legal now for people of African dewcent to gather in one place.

I am from Bahia...not raised there so I don't know much about Candomble...but I know enough to say for sure this is not it..all it is just some sort of African dance...people having fun on the streets of Pelourinho...sorry Eduardo...not even a resemblance of Candomble there.
