There is a youtuber that is ruining the Dark Star gaming experience. The person is filling RUclips with tons of MSFS flights (long and short trips, it's ridiculous). It's kinda ruining the _mystery_ of the thing. I used to enjoy watching these kind of videos but nowadays they don't present nothing new. Sorry... Thank you for sharing.
I just did the video for fun. I don't enjoy the Arcady feel of it. I prefer study level aircraft in MSFS. I'm more into DCS actually. I will post those videos later. Working on carrier OPS and Case III recovery. Stay tuned.
Is the HUD on this modeled after the real one? Or is it classified? It's a strange experience to see out the sides but have the front obscured, even though it doesn't really impact functionality
There is no "real one". There was a prop made for the movie. This is the virtual reality (hence the VR) of the game based on the prop.
Darkstar, or SR-72 is currently a concept in real life. If they do ever develop it, they are targeting Mach 6 and it will not be manned.

What's the performance like if you turn on rainy weather?
@@prosetheus that's live weather. Running vr which impacts fps but it's a beefy setup. Don't see a drop in performance. Don't need DLSS either. Don't like frame generation.

Place looks gorgeous. How would the landing be in winter? Also can you do the gilgit Baltistan airport?
@@prosetheus winter landing might be impossible. Mountains are 16,000 feet around the airport. Gilgit airport has an easier approach but the runway length is too short for a "heavy". Works best for turboprops.

Why does the AUTOMATION give a Sink Rate warning and tell you to pull up when it's Obvious there is NO PROBLEM.
Sink rate warning is usually due to a sharp descent, while a terrain warning is the sharp convergence to the ground with the aircraft. It should've been a "terrain terrain pull up" warning in this case, rather than sink rate, since the rate of descent is pretty consistent. It could be an error on the developers part.
