the thing is, Arthur might not understand racism because he was raised by Dutch. to Dutch, a person's color meant nothing as long as they were someone with money to get. not growing up in the "society", and so Arthur never really learned to hate people of different color since it was practically nonexistent in his surroundings

I genuinely hope some people got experience that back in the day. Someone looking at and talking to them without feeling any different or lesser than them. Im sure it was far and few between but hope it happened.

This is loosely based on some real history. After the civil war there were a few black people who moved west instead of north. The ones who made it to the frontier, and who could write, described living in a completely different world than before. Skin color was more of a curious oddity rather than a social caste system. They were accepted into communities simply through work ethic and common values. Racism still existed, but to far far lesser extent. Now by the 1890s, this had significantly changed. But it's still nice to see them work in obscure bits of history like this.

Compare this little side quest to anything offered by Star Wars Outlaws and tell me Outlaws is a 7/10.
