Hi there the flat battery is the date battery.Have you tried rechargeable batteries does it still show an error.did you buy the camera off the other people? Did they say it was fully working.where did you get the camera.

@@JAKEJIM12 the batteries i tried were rechargeable! got it from a friend's family who didnt want it anymore. they said nothing was wrong with it until they tried opening it and it was just the battery error.

Are the batteries touching the contact's sometimes these need bending carefully to make better contact with the batteries?

If you want to change the date battery it would not do any harm.

if a low battery symbol appears with multiple sets of fresh batteries, this may be an indication of the camera malfunctioning. Based on the information you have provided i would recommend sending the camera in to factory service for evaluation by a service technician.”

Hi there first of all did you have a cr battery in the camera.The one shown in my video.its a flat battery.This may need changing.Also the camera takes 2 x AA batteries.

Hi there again to charge this camera you will need to go to the side of the camera.There is a Rubber tab on the side of the camera.Lift the Rubber tab and you will see the usb port to charge your camera.kind regards thank you for watching my videos

Hi there.If the lens is sticking out and is not going back in.The lens will need to be turned very carefully so the lens goes back on the gear track.Do this at your own risk or take it to your local camera shop they may help you.kind regards

Hi there download the service manual. Scroll down to Service Documents and click on the links. It will show you all the details and should help to trouble shoot.Your camera uses several other factors when auto focusing including infrared or sonar. If the camera was dropped, You may have jarred one of these sensors. Replacing the lens is an option that i would use last. My suggestion to you. Manually focus the lens to extend then gently wiggle it back and forth to allow it to recenter in the tube. It retracts and may have been shaken off track.if still no luck then maybe it's time for another camera.i do have some for sale on eBay.co.uk username JAKEJIM. Hope this was helpful.kind regards

Hi there,not quite sure what you mean? But if you are referring to how do you remove the battery from the camera. Inside the battery compartment there is a small plastic clip. Push this to the side the battery should pop straight out.

Hi there again this is a carina solid state transistor Radio Model W95IP Takes a square battery 9 Volt RCA VS312 JIS 006P MADE IN Hong Kong.The Speaker does have some writing on but due to age some has rubbed off.This is what I can make out as follows. HD SHEN H-2025 8 п 0.2w there is other marking inside the radio.There IS a star shape with the letter S in the middle of the star.Sing Hing VC202. Other parts say Toko ROL.The bottom hinges are broken which removes the back of the radio unfortunately. But there maybe a way to keep the back on.The radio is working perfectly which you can hear in my video.Yes this radio comes with it's original box and manual and wrist strap.I am selling this radio but due to the damaged hinges not sure on what price to accept.Thank you for your interest.Kind regards

@@JAKEJIM12 Hi ! I want to thank you wholeheartedly for taking an immense amount of trouble to find out a huge amount of data and information related to the radio. All this is of great interest to me. What is particularly interesting is that this Hong Kong-manufactured radio takes a 9V battery. Possibly this radio dates back to a time when 1.5V size AA batteries (penlight cells) were yet to become economical and popular. On the positive side a single 9V battery would serve the radio for a much longer time as compared to regular zinc chloride AA batteries. However, modern 9V batteries are rectangular in shape but this RCA battery is square. Due to this size anomaly, I wonder how a replacement battery can be fitted in once the existing battery drains. The speaker is clearly rated 200mW which is quite a normal output even today for a radio of this size. Thank you once again for this upload on quite an interesting vintage pocket radio. Hope you are able to sell it soon. Good luck and all good wishes.

Hi there thank you for your message,I thought I'd update you on another Hong Kong radio I have had since I was a kid.was brought for me by my parents in the 1970s.Still working excellent also takes a 9volt battery.Due to age does have some light small dents on the front metal speaker cover which is the front of the radio.it is pocket size. Not sure if I have added it to my RUclips channel yet.I shall have a look for the radio tomorrow and if I have not added it to my RUclips channel.i will contact you again on here to let you know the title of the other radio.Thank you for your interest kind regards

@@JAKEJIM12 hi Jake yes i bought this set in a charity shop in Bristol about 3 years ago for around £12 i think ...done some research and the company that made them have gone out of business so they must be quite rare ..if i sold my set i would want £30+ as the attention to detail is amazing
