Complex Definitions of Trig Functions
Просмотров 436 месяцев назад
yea, inverse trig functions are meant for angles which are real numbers but then complex angles exist now i guess. Introduction 0:00 Deriving cos(x) 1:41 Deriving arctan(z) 3:02 Deriving arcsin(z) 6:45
Euler's Formula - How did we get here?

Euler's formula is pretty popular but did you know where it comes from?
cosh(x) is a funny function when it comes to calculus.

I made this with my phone. inspired by blackpenredpen
MY IRL DECKS ARE ACTUALLY GOOD? (YGOPRO)

This video shows how gigachad I am as a duelist. My real life decks are so bad that I can do good with them.

THE ULTIMATE STALEMATE IN YUGIOH!

Yea, anime effects are OP. The card image on the divine serpent doesn't even have any japanese/english text. I don't think KONAMI knew what the effects were going to be as well.
Gotta nerf Feynman's trick in the next math update
Is this not Leibniz theorem?
Indeed - it's just another name.
Great vid
suggestion: you could change the angle of the camera, use a marker instead of a pen, use a white paper, and maybe write more clearly. The quality of production just isn't on the right level and makes it hard to watch
Thanks for the suggestion! I'll keep that in mind for the future.
Math
thanks for sharing the video with us! Always cool to see how people interpret identities and functions in their own ways. I like this explanation.
I'm not used to differential equations. Is Euler's formula really the only function that satisfies y'=iy ? Very compelling, though. The exponential side of it always felt disconnected to me, this helped them feel like they actually are the same thing
You sound so excited great explanation, btw
Thank you for this explanation
If you ever re-upload this video, it would be helpful to factor out “i” from the derivative (so people can more clearly see the beginning equation) and then to link the trig function to Euler’s number by saying that this pattern only forms with either of these equations and therefore they must be linked or the different forms of the same expression
Is this inspired by blackpenredpen’s video from a year ago??
Yes!
@@xboxdimensions really? I swear i was watching and swear I heard something similar before🧐, and then it hit me😄
very based
Correction: at 5:35, instead of np(1-p) >5, it should be just n(1-p) > 5 for a large sample
