You can make some hand soap with water after you make your ball of soap

is this sanitary? this doesn't really "melt" the soap, with heat,, it just dissolves it.

Why in the world would you want to use a ball as a shape for bar soap. Couldn't you pat it down so it at least has one side that's flat?

I guess if you can't get those charred bits at the bottom like in a restaurant pizza- you gonna get them on the top. I always make my frozen pizza wet and put it on the highest possible heat at the very bottom- wet so it doesn't burn and also put some flour r semolina below the pizza.

I grated mine and pressed it into a plastic mold. Appreciate knowing this other technique. Keep up the good work.

Thank you, I have been putting the left over soap in a small basin adding a little water and heating in the microwave. This takes a long time as it can not be done in one heating.

Granny used to do something like this but in my bath. She would just wet the small soap together till they were soggy and then pressed them together to make a bigger piece. I was hoping to do it on a bigger scale and found you!

If I get a soap I don't like to use in the shower, I just use an empty bottle of hand soap and fill it up with water and let the soap melt, and use for my hands. I use to throw away bars I don't want, but I found out millions of soap bars go to landfill so I don't waste

I'll have to try this, it seems like a very good idea. I'm not proud of it, but sometimes you have a pizza craving and frozen pizza is a convenient answer. We usually buy Aldi's rising crust because my wife likes it and it's dirt cheap, but I find the crust dense and unpleasant. I doctor the top with a little more sauce but I've never done anything to the crust. We recently bought some Di Giorno rising crust on sale and I just cooked one. That's why I'm here. I find the crust just as bad as the Aldi crust, maybe worse. There's something wrong in the texture of these rising crust pizzas. The dough is nothing like real pizza dough. The sauce and toppings are pretty lame too, but that crust... If you went to a pizza shop and they served something like Di Giorno you'd demand your money back and never return.

I've seen an easier way to make soap from slivers by just adding water to the slivers and bring them to a boil then cast the paste in whatever molds you have. Let them dry. Use them.
