Examples of Nervous System Retraining Drills to Address Chronic Pain
It took me 7 years to get diagnosed for crps and 5 doctors . A bunch of mri and x-rays that didn't explain my symptoms. I had fallen 70 feet so both sides of my spinal cord had to be fused, plus having swelling and just 20% left at rupture . So I guess I was lucky to survive but dealt a shitty hand . Got crps from operations just never could get diagnosed quick enough.
Don’t forget the part when you’re gaslit that you’re the problem while they take your money
Hove munch does this cost? I live in Sweden
I bead help have an symptoms from the neeves
I have found cbd/thc thererepeutic for anxiety/fight flight disconnect/ pain reliever and sleep aid.
Fear is the mind killer 🎭
I've had crps for 11 years, but I wasn't diagnosed for 7 years because I had paralysis with a spinal cord injury. I have swelling and spasm in my back with have made me use tens to control swelling. Do you know anything about pemf devices. There not quite electric but magnetic and cellular. They are supposed to work on microcirculation and cancer cells. Expensive 1k-6k but scientifically proven- nasa and horse racing recovery. I know it sounds like more snake oil to take advantage of pain sufferers. Have you heard anything positive?
I wish there was ““QUICK-FIX”” FOR THE DOWN TIME !!! 🤦🏾♀️
a full body headache. the body fighting a dangerous war but the only person really getting hurt is their allies

Totally agree.
Chromic agonising pain from prescribed therapies, surgeries etc & told YOU WILL ONLY REQUIRE PARACETAMOL. YOU SHOULD HAVE RESOLVED THE PAIN BY NOW.🤯🤯🤯
6 years on a waiting list to see a pain management clinic while battling an aggressive advanced cancer .
I'm an American citizen and I've lived in Indonesia, Jordan, Israel, Panama, and traveled to about six other countries. The US is the only country that I have ever heard people say anything about Fibromyalgia or Gluten issues. People in the US love to have some sort of ailment, and BTW, I'm a 4 year diagnosed MS patient and I laugh at this stuff. You feel like crap, there's hundreds of things that can cause that, even vitamine deficiency. Why isn't this a global issue, like I said?
My dr is very caring and gentle thru the ablation. The pain will subside a few weeks after the procedure
Takes 2 or 3 days fir the nerves to die. If you had pain day you went home you didnt have a good dr. Im getting ready to have my 2nd neck ablation in 5 days had the other side 9 days ago. The Lord gave me a great dr. Took pain pill and a pill to relax me before procedure never felt a thing. Best thing i had done
Living with the volume all the way up is lonely and depressing. Sound hurts 😩 and jumping out my sleep randomly brings on anxiety. I dont even talk about my diagnosis of fibromyalgia anymore. I feel like no one understands
Won't work for me and I already know the cause but no surgeon knows what to do
me
When I'm itchy around my ribs area just the simple scratch causes intense pain it's unbelievable
I'm a 53 year old man, I had fibromyalgia for years before getting it diagnosed. Most days I'm in so much pain and nothing helps. I have really bad panic attack and insomnia as well. My nervous system feels like it's crashing, I don't know what to do. The only thing that helps is working out, but it also makes me feel ill and I have to cut my workouts short. I can't work, I'm always tired, depressed and hurting. Can anyone advise me? Please, I'm at my whits end.

This is a good point. But you could also have insulin resistance, maybe even some VitD, zinc, B1, or Mg insufficiency from too many refined carbs or added sugars. Too little exercise or sleep can add gasoline to your fire. They all can cause symptoms of fatigue, moodiness, brain fog, gut issues, muscle or joint pain, swelling, etc. There's a lot of overlap, and doctors don't often check your insulin + C-peptide or most vitamin levels. They say your sugar is "normal", and wait until you're mostly diabetic, then throw a pill down your throat for it. --------- exercise, sleep, Vitamin D, magnesium, zinc, iron, and BERIBERI are all massive, common global deficiencies that are overlooked.
Doc oromi on RUclips channel have help so many people in curing genital Herpes HSV1_2!!!
Alissa, I am so grateful to have found you and this incredibly helpful video. You nailed everything I’ve been dealing with and put my mind at ease.
Fast track
Heard a doctor on hear saying that a normal person would have to stay awake for 3 days to experience the tiredness we go through daily
Idiopathic polyneuropathy with severe muscle wasting I may never find an answer, me and thousands of others.
Another thing rarely understood about it is the condition intensity can change. Sensitisation of pain receptors can change, so one day isn't always the same as the next, making it harder to make plans. The ways in which fibromyalgia can interfere with ordinary daily function is underestimated more than typically helped or supported. Then, if something more out of the ordinary happens, which does for anyone, the level of crisis can be much worse. I've known this condition to result in loss of life from how much lack in awareness and support there is for it. There are far too many loved ones in mourning over this. That's another invisible part of this condition. It really needs to be taken seriously.
Did you just say that cutting off a limb does not solve the pain in that area. Make that make sense to me
You can amputate the limb, but the limb in the brain is still there.
How do you do this
I resonate so much with your story Kristen. I am so happy I found Alissa as well. Her lessons are digestible, easy to follow and understanding the theory /science was so impactful. She helped me make sense of my pain which was a constant struggle for me because I didn't have a diagnosis. Thank you for sharing your journey xo
Then how does one handle constant neuropathy pain. Its never ending. 😢
I wrote the longest comment and my phone died. I felt like you were talking about me. It is so disheartening to go to doctor after doctor in tears usually only to walk away with no answers. I actually had a doctor and her staff make me cry at pain management. I just wanted you to know that your bravery speaking about this is comforting and made my day better
sound is extremely low in ur web site and here as well.
This makes so much sense to me 🙏🙏
Thank you
Chronic unknown not just pain. Trying to find pain medication that works is the hardest thing ever when the time is not taken to try understand what's really going on i could have something to treat my condition that's not by definition a pain med but helps moderate long term chronic pain issues. But they don't take the time to pause clear mind and stay objective and not unintentional prejudging an individual. Benefit of the doubt. Prejudice is really noticeable
I use herbal tea bulb enemas for pain relief and better sleep.
Your chronic pain is caused by your pain meds. According to a VA Physical Therapist on a telehealth call.
is it totally free course? is it certificate course? can it what's up course?
I’ve never heard it described so well. Yes, you said it, that’s exactly what it’s like for me.
You just listed damn near everything, so if none of that is working how does someone dive deeper?
SERIOUSLY my physical therapist was really nice but I had to stop doing the exercises because they didn’t help with my pain they made it worse
Fybromylgia sucks
Your super inflamed you need to eat fruit 2 months lol
I'm 20. Fibro has taken everything from me. Guess everything happens for a reason (i hope)
I USE the "" NIAD SOUND MUSIC"METHOD " AND IT HELPS SO MUCH... I USE THESE, SOUNDS FOR EVERYTHING CHECK IT OUT...
