What if you would need to replace just a window/door switch, you still need to disassemble the door panel to access it or you can just remove it by prying on it?

A handy short video. Thank You. I also used this video when replacing the door locking actuator. Strangely - mine came off with a T20 Torx. Maybe they are slightly different depending on the model type? Easy enough to find out which one if you have both tools of course.

Hi sir. Can i just pop up top panel and remove sweep gasket for purpose window tinting. Let me to know please

On my 2017 TMX (Norway), the white plugs was glued (water profing I believe). Impossibel for me to pull off the panel as shown on this video. After a while I was lucky I guess. I tried first to loosen the bottom with no luck. I then loosen the top and the went back to loosen the bottom. It was still 100% stuck. I almost destroyed the doorpanel I guess. After 10 minuttes I tried another solution. With the top already loosen, I gave the panel a hit on the left side(forward direction) with my fist. Luckily the panel moved 3cm and popped off from the door. The white plugs was still in the door. I then removed the white plugs and it was very difficult todo so because of the back glue. Used 1-2 min to loosen each plug. After my repair, I then installed the white plugs back to the panel and reinstalled the panel to the door.

I have to try, i have loose change in both doors, every time i accelerate, you hear $1.85 in freaking nickels sliding across hard plastic,its maddening.

I use two small bungee cords and hang the panel from the door while I tint the glass. You might like that better than a jack stand.

How difficult is it to replace the rubber seal? Mine is torn and I was considering replacing it but not sure about how difficult that will be and if I need to take the trim off first?
