    A rider's view can be quite misleading. In order for a balanced motorcycle to turn it must be first LEANED. At the moment the lean torque is applied, the front wheel's gyroscopic precession steers the wheel toward the side that the torque is applied. Push down using HB leverage on the left side, it leans left and instantly turns the wheel in that direction by gyroscopic precession, along with certain forward weighting and the rake angles's caster effect. These are auto steer features built into the bike as seen in hands free two-wheeler riding using singular lean direction for turning only. Nothing opposite, toward the right, will occur. The lean initiated G.P. force can be observed by using a 3 way gymbled gyroscope as in the Bozeman demonstration video. There is no counter-steering involved in the turning of any bike or motorcycle.

      @VIMotorcycleSchool 16 часов назад

      You will never see a rider going in a straight line and then making a sharp turn with no hands. The reason for that is because you HAVE to countersteer, whether you realize it, or not.

      I had to drill a small hole in my camera mount, and safety wire that to a tiny hole I drilled in my fairing. I could have run the wire to an existing screw, but that was farther and I didn't care about a tiny hole.

    • @VIMotorcycleSchool
      @VIMotorcycleSchool 8 месяцев назад

      The issue was the freewheel. Since I had the problem during covid, the supply chain was all screwed up and it took several months to get the replacement. Since I had heard of this being a common weak point on these bikes, I ordered two. Once it was in, everything worked great. There's a video of the conclusion on my channel.

    Hi, I’m moving to Nanaimo this summer and I have a crf rally and little experience riding off-road. Are you ok learning on these trails with an enduro or is a full dirt putt putt required?

    • @VIMotorcycleSchool
      @VIMotorcycleSchool 9 месяцев назад

      There's plenty of easier trails here, but there are ones that do require a fair bit of skill. There's maps that do show the trails and difficulty level. I still wouldn't recommend heading out there alone, at least not until you know the area.

    can i put a stock/thicker seat into that single seat? bcs i still use it for daily

    • @VIMotorcycleSchool
      @VIMotorcycleSchool 11 месяцев назад

      The padding is just some sort of foam with an adhesive backing. I'm sure you could find something thicker and glue it on. I personally find that since there's more surface area for my butt and thighs to contact on the bike, this is much more comfortable than the stock seat. But, you would have to cut this cowling up significantly to get the license plate and lights to fit. So if you haven't already bought it, I would suggest going with the Tyga Performance option over this one, like was recommended by another person in these comments.

  • @KeeganHolme
    @KeeganHolme Год назад

    Whatever you did in T15 on the right side was crazy. By turn 8 you were ~.4 back and then by 16/17 you were back up to .1

    • @TheJfriesen
      @TheJfriesen Год назад

      I don't think I did anything special on the right side in 15, I think I just screwed it up on the left.

    • @KeeganHolme
      @KeeganHolme Год назад

      So next year you just have to combine T12/13 and 15 from the Right with the rest of the lap on the Left and you're good for like .9 at least! Pretty easily said...

    How much of a difference did the race seat make on track compared to the stock re body position?

    • @VIMotorcycleSchool
      @VIMotorcycleSchool Год назад

      I'm a pretty big guy, so the bike was basically unrideable on the track. The race seat is slightly higher, which is nice so that there's room for my legs on the rearsets. There's also about twice as much room front to back, so I can move on the bike. I couldn't move at all with the stock seat, and now I can comfortably hang off. I am starting to wish that I had gone with a seat that did have the option for the plate and lights now, though.
