Who Needs Critics
In this video, I dive into the topic of criticism and explore both its positive and negative sides. On the one hand, good criticism can be incredibly valuable, helping us grow, improve, and gain new perspectives. On the other hand, bad criticism can tear us down, stifle creativity, and leave us feeling defeated. I use simple, relatable examples to show how constructive feedback can light a spark, while destructive comments can snuff out that same fire. The goal of this video is to encourage a balanced approach to giving and receiving criticism-understanding that while it’s necessary, not all critiques are created equal.

I’m watching your video and in pain right now. I have never had wrist pain. It’s like a deep bone pain. I can’t make a fist and there isn’t a great position to stop the tremendous discomfort. It is crazy painful. This is what I think happened. I wore the Apple Watch tighter than usual yesterday and I woke up feeling like I had slept with my hand bent back all night. It became increasingly painful with any kind of use. I haven’t had the watch on today at all. Just keeping it immobilized with heat. It’s like a bad tooth ache. Ache won’t stop. It isn’t nerve pain for me… it’s bone pain. The pain hasn’t changed in intensity no matter what. There is no rhyme or reason for this other than the watch. I also wear it on my left wrist. If this doesn’t subside tomorrow, I may go for an xray. It’s weird. Thanks for your video. I know I’m not alone❤

That's complete nonsense The sensors in the Apple Watch use optical heart rate monitoring (through LEDs and photodiodes) and electrical sensors (for ECG) that only interact with the surface of the skin. These technologies send light or electrical impulses into the upper layers of the skin, which is entirely painless. They don't interact with nerves or penetrate the skin, which is why they cannot cause pain or long-term effects.

I don't want this to devolve into anything related to name calling but, you do understand all of those sensors you turned off AND kept on use infrared light right? The same infrared lights that's everywhere in the world but can't see because it's not in the visible light spectrum. Those sensors had a 0.000000001% chance of causing the wrist pain and I am willing to bet it's the activities you wear your watch for like biking that are contributing to the pain. Do an experiment where you turn all the sensors on and stop doing any physical activity that can cause strain to your wrist (like biking) and I am confident there will be no pain in your wrist.

I actually turned most of the sensors other than the heart rate and it seems to be helping. I turned them off before watching your video but now I am 99% certain that it was the sensors that caused the pain on my left wrist. I can tell you it’s not only you who is experiencing the pain but if you search on google, you will see many people complaining about the same thing. Apple simply doesn’t care and refuses to acknowledge any of this by saying “see your primary care doctor and clean your watch” like wtf. Also, my sister tried out my watch and she didn’t feel any pain but I do. I guess we’re sensitive to the sensors and the radiation.

Yes, I do get wrist pain from my AW as well. I only wear it when I go outside and when I sleep. I take it off and let my wrist rest for a while before putting it back on. Just a note, maybe it's not related - 2:40 - for my taste it's tight. Not tight all the way but still is. It doesn't look like you can easily slide your watch above pisiform bone and if you try - does it feel comfortable? You should be able to spin your watch around wrist without much of a hassle - can you? Give it a try - loosen up that strap a little. Maybe, since you're aware of that pain you adjust your watch more often, tinker with it and that helps. I wore my watch too tightly and I loosen it up years ago just because I read some random article about wearing your watch properly. It didn't matter to me, but now I must admit it feels better that way.
