Hi Pranati! Thank you so much for sharing, it's really helpful :) I have a Bachelor in Design and I am thinking to take the GA Ux Bootcamp to make a switch in my career and start in the Ux field, do you think GA has enough depth in the subject or it would be just a base? Do you think recruiters see SA as a bonus or it is not well seen? Thank you!
Magdalena Fuidio hi there! I actually made a video on my experience with the GA UX boot camp if you want to watch it. I’ll link it to you. I found the GA boot camp really helpful because I was starting from 0. So it really gave me a good foundation. But if you have a bachelor in Design- you might already have all that information. The boot camp might be useful For working on projects and networking more than the content!
Amazing info! But that repetitive music in the background makes me want to slam my head against a wall
Boolysse W Hahahaha omg best comment ever will keep that in mind for the next one
Pranati Rao but hey the info really helped. I actually have a question too...obviously after a boot camp such as GA you still need to keep your knowledge of UX fresh and create a portfolio. But did you find it hard to get a job since you started with a background in marketing. I am also working in marketing and am slowly making a transition as well and am looking at GA. lastly how hard was the application process.
Boolysse W I think that it’s definitely rly hard to break into UX but the more time you spend on your personal projects and case studies , the higher chance you have at getting interviews for sure. So just the Ga course alone isn’t enough, but you need to keep working on projects.
