[2D SxSh Fangame] The ARK & Shadow Rival Battle
Still WIP (Sorry for FPS Drop, it's still WIP), I'm currently working on visuals, gimmicks for both Sonic and Shadow.
Sonic has a different boost methods, one with gauge will make you run faster compare to the boost with stamina. I added Shadow's wings so you can now fly (you can activate it with the full Chaos Meter by pressing Up+Y-button). Y Chaos Spear which you can charge with the Chaos Meter and throw at the enemies (1 charge = 1 chaos spear up to 3 times) and Chaos Control, which you can activate with the full Chaos Meter via pressing Down+Y-button (S by default) The Chaos Meter in the middle charges when you link the action chain.

So I've updated the shading a bit (still WIP, I wanna add reflection and day&night cycle), added doom powers to Shadow and I'm currently working on the momentum , gimmicks and physics. So, after my latest Sonic : Weaving in Time Release i found a lot of problems and bugs in the engine, so i decided to rework the engine, to make it orientated more towards the Unleashed/Rush type of gameplay. About what i told you about adding Hero Shadow and dark shadow. How about you make them shadow´s superforms customizable to switch beetween super , hero and dark shadow. I mean like just color changes and boost color changes.

Will shadow get doom surf on aquatic parts on stages? Btw keep up the great work. I got a suggestion. Before sonic becomes dark super sonic , make him become dark sonic that transformation sonic was before becoming dark super sonic:Normal sonic with his hair down and his blue parts with a darker blue color before he really achieves the completed dark super sonic.

No way bro recreated doom wings. Btw i got 3 questions. First question:Will we be able to customize beetween doom wings or super shadow. 2 question:Will we get silver on this? And 3 question:Will we get hero shadow and dark/red shadow.
@@luizfilipepereiralinhares4979 Hi!! YES I FELT IN LOVE WITH DOOM WINGS ; 1. they are mixed, so when you transform to super shadow he will still have the doom wings 2. I already have playable silver & blaze with Psychokinesis and "Flames of Disaster", but the storyline of my fangame is focused on Shadow and Sonic, so maybe i will include them in the second part of the game. 3. Unfortunately no, i don't see any possible usage of this two forms for him. He already has Chaos Spear, Doom Wings and Chaos Control. I think that these two forms will make the game less dynamic
@jm8_ Maybe like. Shadow transform in hero or dark shadow only for chaos blast? Like he transforms to perform chaos blast.
@@luizfilipepereiralinhares4979 he already has chaos spear, that insta kills or stuns enemies, so it won't make any sense to add chaos blast (i have already tried to add chaos blast, it just slows down the whole stage)

This looks super cool! I look forward to future updates on this! Also, now I'm seriously hoping that Shadow will get an Asteroid Coaster stage out of this project like in his appearance in Sonic Colors DS. Seeing an Advance stage is pretty cool too! I like it, keep up the nice work.

this actually has a really nice flow to it, my only note would be to give slope influence a lot more power, speed up downhill, slowdown up hill, sonic's running feels too flat otherwise.
