Unfortunately in Michigan DTE decided to charge " forever monthly fee" for this product. The owner will never own it since they are implementing it as "subscription service" which is a hard pass for me.

That may be what I’m looking for, my house has something called interrupted service which means I have 2 meter on the back of my house. The main meter feeds the 2nd meter and the 2nd meter only controls my AC unit, the way I have it set up now is with an interlock kit, I cannot use because of this 2nd meter, when power is out and I’m back feeding this looks like it will work because it should still power that 2nd meter when utility power is down and my generator is hooked up what are your thoughts?

Our electric provider installed it free. We purchased it and had it sent directly to our provider. They received it and installed it within a week. Works beautifully.

DON’T BUY!!!!! READ THIS!!! I am in the middle of a battle with Global Power due to its laughable “warranty” I am in Ontario Canada. Bought a Generlink through a licensed electrician and got it installed early in November 2023. Things looked fine by then (solid green light, no red light at any time) but on our first power outage we discovered that the unit didn’t work as intended: It won’t transferred to generator, never gives a blue light, neither a red one. Only green light. Electrician and I have contacted Global Power and they’ve come up with their joke of warranty policy, consisting of 2 points: 1. They won’t replace the faulty unit with a new one, or refund me. Instead, they want it back so they can fix it. In other words, they are getting money supposedly of a new unit for a refurbished one. 2. To get the faulty unit back to them, they pretend me to pay for the shipping out of my pocket, as I was told over the phone by a costumer service rep, which also said “you pay to send it to us, we pay for send it back to you” as if they were doing me a favour! I am pushing back on these two points and will only settle for a new Generlink or a full refund. This has become an unnecessary nightmare without any idea of when it will be solved, but my family and I are more than resolved to take it wherever is need to get a fair outcome. If potential customers know that Global Power’s warranty is to sell you a refurbished unit for the price of a new one, would you settle for it? DON’T BUY!!!! Ps: I will post updates ONLY if the outcome of this battle is a fair one.
