An interesting selection...im liking, and I am making an assumption, here the younger djs, uncumbered by the unconscious bias on the sets of the rave days put together what they like irrespective of genre...im all for dance music pluralism!

You’re correct in your assumptions, I was too young for the 90s but my parents were early adopters of the rave scene lol so I grew up with everything from happy hardcore to anything on top of the pops to everything in between, so I throw together what I like and what feels right to play together, not necessarily sticking to the rules of DJ handbook
@@KryptoKyeunfortunately u did miss the revolution in dance music,ex raver 1989-2010,hardcore was banging,aswell as jungle,house,drum and bass,hard house etc,etc,still listen to rave music to this day,much to the annoyance of my street I live in,but they jus remind me of the govt,they hate ppl having fun,peace to old an new ravers,and respect to you for this mix,👍🥃
