I have heard many singers sing their renditions of this song from secular to even Gospel artists. Other than Tramaine Hawkins who originally performed it years ago this rendition by Jennifer Hudson is by far the most moving and powerful performance I have witnessed ever. She does more than justice to this timeless gospel masterpiece. There are some singers who attempt to sing this and in my opinion they never should have because they don’t do justice to the song. But this here rendition by Jennifer Hudson……..All I can say if you not going to bring it like she did please leave this song alone. It is definitely not for the mediocre soloist.
