The same phenomenon occurred in my environment. I solved it by selecting the project, duplicating it, and exporting the duplicated project.

I had the same issue. I just restarted the ipad and it worked for me. if it still didn't work for anyone, convert video to png sequences and importing also works for me.

Maybe you have the drawing background set to transparent. Try making it white and see if that fixes it. (go to drawing mode and tap the clock numbers on the left side to change the background)

This being an early video is a little fussy. I watched your Celtic know which i was trying to really watch the undercutting. I like your 3d style more than any other example I've seen. Do you have another clear vid of that?

I Could solve this changing the codec HEVC to H.264 on capcut, then I could open the video on dreams edit whatever I need and export safety

How do you even animate with this app I’ve tried to just make a simple story board to start with it but everything just feel so empty to me, idk if it’s just me but I can’t find my way around the app like how I could in procreate… like I can’t even move my frames to where I want. Does anyone else have this or am I just stupid?? Any tips?

same problem here, had the worst time trying to pause at the exact frame I want to edit it, or else the screen would go black, thought it would be fine once I export it , but it kept getting worse, hope they fix it as soon as possible

How much storage do you have on your ipad atm?

There’s a TOONNNN of glitches that they need to fix. For example, my sh*t keeps crashing. It could just be my iPad but idk. There’s also the lag and blur issue. It’s not a bad app, it just has a ridiculous amount of glitches. But then again, it’s a very new app.

In my case I can’t upload the animations I made in procreate to procreate dreams. It gives an error message saying something like “your tablet does not support this” but I can upload much longer and higher quality videos to dreams. Seems like the app is very glitchy. Despite all this I’m sure it will all get fixed sooner or later because the team behind this listens to all critiques and requests regarding their work.

Seeing quite a few RUclipsrs sharing their issues with Procreate Dreams. Is anyone actually reporting this stuff to the actual company? I know that Procreate will be getting future updates, but those updates might not cover all the problems if they don't know what the problems are.

I found the solution- it just has trouble with high res video. If you important video at 720 dpi it will work. I’ve only used clips with no sound- maybe it would work with sound, or maybe there’s another way to bring sound in. Not ideal- but with low res video it works great.

I tried to redo a small animation 4 times thinking I messed up something :') too bad it exists , but good to know it is a general problem. Thank you uploading this!

Dreams in general is just really bad. Missing a huge amount of essential features and many Procreate staple features are missing. Not sure what this company was thinking but they really missed the mark here.

Heya. You can access Procreate Dreams support at no cost. Head to help.procreate.com. An update is already available that fixes some export issues for some iPad models. You may find updating is all you need. Good luck!
