BBC Broadcaster and sports anchor, Chetan Petak – Graduation speech July 2024
Fresh from 15 days non-stop coverage of Wimbledon, Chetan Pathak (BA English and Theatre Studies, 2005) delivered his impactful speech to our Faculty of Arts graduands.
Having spent the last 20 years working as a sports anchor and broadcast journalist, Chetan takes the sporting reins on BBC One Breakfast, BBC News at Six and BBC News at Ten. His time at Warwick lead him on the presenting path thanks to coming out of his comfort zone and hosting the first ever sports programme on Warwick TV.
His advice to the graduates of Warwick was to “be brave and say that word ‘yes’”.
