It's interesting because the non-luxury buyer is concerned with interest rates and inflation. The luxury buyer keeps closer tabs on the stock market. Regardless, all those economic factors are wonky right now so I agree, the real estate market is being effected...already. Less multiple offers, price reductions and more new listings. A return to a balanced market would be lovely after the frenzy of the past 2 years and we are heading there. Slowly but surely.

Interesting take, Scott. Thanks for piping up. I don't know about Florida as a whole, but Sarasota is consistently in the top 5 places people are moving to. We check so many boxes in the quality of life category. I think we will be less impacted than other places in the country because we are such a desired area but time will tell.

Not accurate. Sarasota does not do this routinely. Piney Point catastrophe is unfortunately the cause of this red tide outbreak. But I agree with you that we can do a better job of protecting our beautiful waters. We just have to.

It's a sick hoax, they wont even let real victims comment on their videos, i suspect the "special" people allowed here don't even know what trauma actually is, they would freak and hurt us even more if they tried letting any of us truly speak up about things and the need to stop it from continuing, you see, i'm not even allowed to speak of it here because of how they've set up their account, the official account is even worse, no comments allowed at all, very restrictive "help". We need people with spine and gonads to be real on this planet, but it's just not happening.

Many jobs relating to tourism. Also, law, medical, education, and sales. We have some national companies like Tervis, Boars Head, and PGT windows and are starting to attract more.

I haven't seen unclear water so the answer would be yes, it is clear and beautiful.
