America's Got Talent: Lindsey Stirling's Journey
Woo hoo! Finally done my Lindsey video! Hope you guys all like it! :)
This was inspired basically by Lindsey Stirling's Shatter Me performance on AGT! She was absolutely gorgeous and amazing up there. If you don't who she is, she's a dancing violinist! She writes her own music and she writes to dubstep, classical, EDM, etc.!

I am convinced this woman was 'sent' to us for reasons far beyond simply providing entertainment.
Her coming back and coming in on the wires was bloody brilliant. To me that is the best Go F yourself moment ever. This was her redemption to be honest.

Thing is some people would take the end of that AGT journey and be like well that's it then, whereas Lindsey took it and was like hmm okay, well I'm going to do better, and come back and show them how wrong they were. Lindsey is now world famous, people so excited to have the opportunity to see her perform, she has gone from strength to strength and she is making those judges eat their words over and over.
Same girl different show. She improved a lot.
Just watched Eye of the Untold Her and… came on back here for a trip down memory lane… never in the history of comp shows have they missed this hard…

She just filled a theater in Las Vegas tonight. It was a sold out show. They were wrong.
To be fair, she's a lot better now than she was back then.
I love Lindsey Stirling.
Many in the comment section says, she proved them wrong. But what exactly were the judges wrong about? 1. Piers says she needs to be a world class level violinist to be able to do what she wanted to. Was he wrong? Absolutely not... he's 100% right. You'd have to be so skillful to do that while moving around. Not many in the world could do that... and its so easy to make mistakes, and on her AGT appearance, she did make a mistake... 2. The lady judge said, she needed a singer to add to the performance. Was she wrong? Well, lets see, many of her videos on youtube included singers. This guest performance, included a singer. And it was magnificent. So based on that, that judge wasn't wrong. At the time that she did AGT, she quite objectively, didn't do as well as she did in the first showing... nothing to be ashamed off, but insulting the judges for giving a pretty accurate take on her performance is quite immature on the part of the people in the comment section.

The song with Lzzy Hale was just a one time Collab, Lindsey does not have a band herself but she often works with other artists; Pentatonic, Dia Frampton and Amy Lee of Evanescence to name a few. She is always happy to work with others.

The judges were right....
It's great to go back and see this. I agree with the judges on how bad it sounded while she was dancing around while trying to play. She was young and still honing her craft as not just a technical violinist but more so an entertainer. I plan on seeing her in a couple months. She's really done a lot of good works since and I used to listen to flyleaf a lot, so I've been obsessed with the new colab with Lacey strum.
Glad she lost the hip hop and found her own musical vibe, which is much more new wave and quasi classical and Gaelic folk.
She popped up on a RUclips reel/short and I checked out other vids on her page. Such an amazing performer. The Classics can Truly Rock.
Same here. I’d never heard of her and there she was in a YT short. Very unique and very talented for sure She’s doing what she was born to do, judges are not gods
I don’t get how this proved the judges wrong. They said she needed people around her like a singer. She came with a singer. They said she needed to be a world class talent to pull off what she was doing and so she got better and can now do it better. Judges were right. Pierce was a dick, but wasn’t wrong.
AGT told her that she wasn't good enough. WOW, they were totally WRONG.

I saw a female electric violinist perform in Los Vegas in 2012 and it was a light show too. It was so amazing and sounded so good. I don't remember who that woman was and I been trying to figure out if it was her or someone else.

I do tend to agree with Piers. It’s obvious she’s very talented but you couldn’t pay me to listen to that audition again.
I don’t think the judges were out of line. In americas got talent you can clearly see her struggling to play well. To be fair she was moving around a lot and she wasn’t experienced enough. I’m glad she didn’t give up, she really improved.

Yeah, I felt like I couldn't hear the notes or she missing them or the other music was overbearing. What I hear on social platforms, her music is clear, clean and kind of hypnotic. But noticed she listened to the advice in her return performance
She made like 200 million last yr doing exactly the same (dancing around on stage)... I agree with your comments and can see the judges point of view... BUT, hasn't the girl proved us all wrong... Just goes to show. Passion and determination wins everytime...

She proved them wrong, but it was true that at the time she made some mistakes. Sometimes a harsh criticism helps you to improve, so it's not all bad
