It took me forever to find someone on RUclips who did this. I have a 1976 El Camino and I am going to do the same thing. Thanks for the inspiration, By the way I just subscribed.
Just suscribed....what can I say but WOW! I've always been a fan of the El Camino. This just raised the platform for me. How is this possible. Can you give me some details. Is it the original frame or something else you adapted, is it a custom frame? So many questions. How can I build one of these for myself. Any advice would be welcomed. Thank you in advance your latest fan!!!
You did a nice job on it!. I've had my 73' EL CAMINO since 1989, I had mine a full frame off restoration done to it. It's a driveable show-car, painted ORANGE & BLACK, custom, w/355 cu" engine. It was in THE PORTLAND ROADSTER SHOW; 2O10 & 2011 1ST PLACE IN CLASS 10' & OUTSTANDING TRUCK IN 11'. and other AWARDS WHEN I was showing it from; 09' to 13', IN 2010' 2 BEST OF SHOWS', w/2-" BEST PAINT" AWARDS DURING THE TIME I SHOWED IT! be carefull with your front grill!!!! Very Hard to get!!!. I think the 73' had the Best looking front end!! Out of that generation.
