Here is your nice one owner Slingerland Radio King . Still has all the original calf skin heads. I just bought it and in the process of cleaning and set up before playing it. I want you to hear the open sound of the drums before making changes

This is my first time buying one of these amps. I plugged it into my old 1970 cabinet and really like the tones.I'm just starting to play again. The guitar is nothing but a hot rodded Squire Edquir.

Today I'm checking out a 60s Slingerland radio king COB snare drum. . This one has an emperor head on the batter side. Normally I use ambassadors but wanted to hear the difference. Sounds good with less ring and overtones. these drums have the rail mounted snares on both sides.

I was able to find a matching snare drum for this set. Of coarse it was old and rusty and dirty. It cleaned up well and with new heads installed, here it is.

Here are a few more of my 1940s K's This is for reference to those who are not familiar. They have a clicky stick sound with a great wash and fast decay and also crashable at 20"
