The swatch looks dark because you took a whole gob and smeared it in one spot. It’s a powder and you can’t be heavy handed when swatching.

Im super dark, and this palette disappointed me thoroughly. All the mattes are variations on my skin shade. 😟 The ones that are dark have a grey thing that doesn't work on me Also, Huda beauty is way more pigmented than any Juvias place ive ever used.
