Played this in All Region Band around 1988 or so. So glad I found it, the video goes along very well with it.

=)

My high school band director introduced this song to us and we performed it at our Christmas concert in 1988. I remember him telling us to close our eyes as we listened to a performance of it, and he vibrantly narrated to us what was going on. It felt like we were actually there. There were tears throughout the auditorium that night, and I felt the tears coming back as I listened to this again. This is a wonderful performance and a wonderful tribute to these men and women.
