I left UVa in '93 with a degree in economics and about 40 DMB shows at Trax under my belt. I went for the cheap beer and the warm-up for the DKE, Phi Kap, SAE nightlife crawl to follow (+ Chanellop's breadsticks to close out the night). I would sip Bud Lights patiently until they would finally get around to Watch Tower. G-d Damn. This video doesn't do it justice. To be 20 yrs old and in a small club watching these world class artists rock a song borne by Hendrix (and Bob Dylan). I was a fool for (1) not being interested in the ants that were marching and all the other future classics that were on display, and (2) not realizing the perfection of the moment. Or maybe I did....

This version is priceless. I've probably listened to it 100 times.
