Full A4 Sheet Hack for Cricut Print then Cut Tutorial
will this work on the joy xtra?
this is not possible with the current DS?
I'm searching for H letter almost from half an hour and thank God you uploaded this video and it gives me relief now i can sleep easily and with satisfaction because of you ❤🤗🫣and this design is fabulous 👍💖❤️
Question. You set up marks in the corners. But after print they are not exactly in the corners. Can you explain that please?
Please helppp! 😢😢😢😢 I use same printer l3210....How did you manage the exact cuts when the printer does not do borderless cuts.😢😢😢

the size you set is not the exact A4 size. How you managed to fit an exact A4 size sheet in the mat?
Price
why 8.2 and 11.2 - it is not quite A4 in inches, that would be 8.3 and 11.7. Can you please explain?
hello po, bat di mag pantay yung cut at printed na picture po? rectangle yung shape
why did you set to large mat then cut on a small mat....? it won't allow you to do that...
hi can you share the settings of your Photoshop when printing? the position and size? also did you fit your image?
how to changes into incehs po?
Hello. May I ask kung anong cricut po gamit niyo? Thank you 😊
Do not see a link
This is why I have a 24 in Romeo cutter
I still don’t understand
I need to hear some talking
Love it ❤
applicabke din po ba sa . Microsoft ?
what size of mat do you use? i have 12x12 mat but it says i need a longer mat
Where did you get the temple?
I think the overall Cricut technology needs to improve vastly! With the way print then cut works (scanning registration marks to determine alignment of the blade), they way it should work is to have Cricut scan what's actually printed on the mat and then cut according to a tolerance % you enter (basically how much of a bleed, negative or positive). Even with the latest update to Design Space and using the Beta version of the software, you still have to 'hack' the machine to allow an almost 8.5" x 11" image to be cut by choosing a larger paper size. This works if you have a 12" x 24" mat (no problem), but many projects only come with paper stock of 8.5" x 11" (example photo papers, sticker paper, etc). We should be able to adhere the paper as skewed as we want (as long as it fits within the mat) and Cricut should be able to cut it without needing registration marks, without hours spent trying to align the way your printer prints and hope that it lines up with the image you import and hope you place the paper on the mat exactly square and then hope you feed the mat perfectly. All these things can slip as little as 1/16" and even 1/32" is too much of a difference. I've noticed that when you print a few copies of an image from your printer and then align the papers perfectly, those prints can be off 1/16", and this is due to the fact 8.5" x 11" stock is often plus or minus 1/16" in width and length, so when you tell your printer to center the image, if the stock's height is not more consistent than within 1/32", then your prints are not aligned, so your cut image won't always align with the same image printed. All this would be solved if the machine would simply scan the mat and cut accordingly.
Hello! Are you really using the 12x24 mat or just the 12x12? coz the mat looks like it's still a 12x12. Thank you!
I’m only using a 12x12 mat
Come mai?
I cant seem to understand the purpose of putting the masking tape around?
its sad you need a boarder less printer
You don’t need a borderless printer
Hello po, bakit po ganon sa cricut explore air 2 ko hindi sya na ccut ng sakto kahit na sinunod ko yung tamang sizes :‹ Gamit ko po A4 Sticker paper nakailang try na ako pero ganon pa rin
What are you talking about. English bro
Thank you I have been looking for a tutorial like this :) I used Letter size 8.50 x11 worked out after the second time around perfect.
Glad it helped!
anong version ng photoshop ang gamit?
So pretty! You inspired me!
How big are your circles?
How well did the vinyl stay down on the leather. Thanks
Since it is Iron-on vinyl it sticks really well.
@@mcraftsco Got Ya. Thanks.
What photoshop app did u use
It is the ADOBE PHOTOSHOP
I can only find the Express n it only shows me actual Photo's... No Document. Help please
@@patriciarobinson8532 You can actually do this in canva Pro
I tried this using 8.5 x 11 inches instead of A4 and it didn't work. When I print the image from Photoshop, the registration marks are not at the borders of my paper, like yours. How did you get Cricut to cut your circles accurately considering the registration marks do not appear at the corner of your page? Shouldn't that throw the cut off?
I am really not sure if this will work in letter size but you can try the same process but changing the sizes i mentioned to a letter size. And my small boxes or registration mark that i put in photoshop doesnt work as registration mark on this trick. I use it so that when I upload the cut file in Design space it will be exactly the size of my paper.
will this work with cricut maker?
Yes, I personally use the cricut maker.
I tried all the steps and all 3 of my prints aren't cutting exactly where it should cut. 🥺 i made all sizes 8.627x11.694 both in design space and PS. What else could be wrong?
I’m so sorry to hear that. Are you using an A4 size sticker paper?
It's so sad that a huge company like Cricut has one of the worst "design" software out there. You should not have to go through this. This is not okay.
Actually no. Cricut doesn’t have the worst software like you said, Cricut might have smaller print then cut size before but they just updated the Design Space to make it bigger. Cricut design space is very beginner friendly. So for people that are not so tech savy Cricut design space is not gonna be a problem. But I apprrciate your concern . I’m happy with my Cricut
@@mcraftsco hello po ask ko lang po paano po if walang photoshop app
@@sannie0994 You can try po canva if naka PRO ka po. or any app or software na pwede mo madownload yung file as png transparent background so you will have it as your cut file/svg.
I agree with that lady, I’ve been watching videos of how to calibrate “print then cut” and I just can’t do it, I already calibrated the machine 11 times and it doesn’t work , I’ll gonna try this method for sure thank you 🙏🏼 😊
@@carlalorenasantospereira4871 I hope this will somehow help you solve your problem with print then cut
How do you do if you don’t want to cut the print, but just the stroke of cards ? 😢
What do you mean just the strokes of cards?
@@mcraftsco I resolved my problem, I put background behind my print 👍 I meant the outline of my cards and not the visual inside which is printed
AMAZING ❤❤❤
What was the reason for the registration marks? You placed the page in the frame, but I didn't catch the use of the registration marks.
The registration marks are for it to be exactly A4 size when you upload it to Design Space. If there is no Registration marks, you will only upload the image to cut. You will not get the right size.
Will you select borderless A4 to print?
I didn’t select anyhing else in my settings other than the paper size which is A4 and Paper type (glossy or matte depending on your material)
hope this work with me! gonna try today
Good luck🙏
finally found what im looking for. my problem was resolved. Thanks for sharing! God bless you!
I’m glad it helped.😊
I got lost 😩
Why? Where?
Merci pour l’astuce 👍🏻
You’re welcome. Hope it works on you end
Thank you for sharing. I enjoyed watching and learned some new tips on this👍
Glad it was helpful!
nice hack! mine can't upload the PNG image in CDS 😔.. the version i'm using is 7.26.132.
Thanks for the video. How were you able to put in a 12x12 cut mat when Cricut requests a 12x24 with these measurements?
Even if the cricut requests a 12x24 mat you can easily change the mat settings to 12x24 and still put the 12x12
@@mcraftsco I couldn't get this to work. I changed the settings to 12x24 but it still says I need a longer mat.
@@kccvalenciaI had the same problem..
I have the same problem, I try to cut a4 paper size in 12x12 mat but the machine always request only 12*24🤔.
anche a me succede cosi, forse bisogna mettere la versione BETA??
What is an a4
A4 is a piece of paper measures 8.3x11.7 inches
@@mcraftsco ok thank you, I just heard if this yesterday
Hello, size of the cut image in design space is 8.267 x 11.694 while on PS and margin cut it was 8.268 x 11.294 as stated on the first part of the video - was that intentional?
Thank you for pointing that out. Been looking at the video many times to see if I made some errors. And yes the 8.267 and 8.268 are intentional but not the 11.294 where I mistype this while the input in design space is 11.694 not 11.294z.
