1965 Chrysler 300 trunk restoration Raptor Liner and paint
Просмотров 1182 месяца назад
I finally got to the rusty trunk. Stripped as much as I could handle, then etching primer on the bare metal and bonding primer on the rest, then color matched Raptor liner on the interior and single stage paint on the underside lid and sills.

Some hard work right there. Nicely done. Gonna get me some wedges. A San Angelo bar might be useful as well. Have one from my younger days in San Antonio when digging a post hole through the local limestone was seriously difficult.
Thank you. I inherited my grandpa's digging bar that was an old tractor PTO driveline from the early 1900s. Super hard steel. When I was 15 I dug window wells for his house in river-bed soil that was 98% rock, dug holes for at least a dozen trees, and demo'd two houses with it. I used that thing for over 30 years. One day a crew was working at my house doing some concrete and they stole my grandpa's bar! Still galls me to this day. I've bent every other bar I've used since then. Yep, I sure could use that bar on this stump!
2 months later and couple smashed toes he finally got it out.
That old boy has done this a time or two !
Hard to do very unsafe and wrong approach with wrong tools 👎🏻
Absolutely! Don't do this
You may want to cut back on the Soy !
Is this in a spot where a stump grinder can't get to? You're working real hard, I'd say no old man would work that hard lol
I AM the stump grinder
thats a root
You're absolutely right. This is not the first time I've been overly optimistic
nice shoes
Thank you. They're a bit worn but still sturdy. They grip pretty well in the dirt.
It's never gonna give up........
We'll see....
Never did see the stump removal. I've removed stumps before, always used a shovel and an axe, it took alot of digging and chopping, but I removed them
I'm still working on it. It rained today so I rested. Plus I'm old
@@delwood77 I get it, it was when I was younger at the time, but I have removed smaller stumps and roots between me and the neighbor lately so I could see cars coming around the curve when pulling out of my driveway, it was definitely a job, took a few days to remove all of them, around ten 2" to 4" trees, nothing like the one you're messing with. I'm now 63 btw, so I'm getting up there as well
@@Ledzepnut Well that sounds like a job! I think hard work in the right dose will keep you young. At least that's what I tell myself!
@@delwood77 Makes me feel older lol
Wow, bare feet.
Yeah. I got no sense.

Unfortunately clip is too short
Utterly cute,sweet and smart
Thank you! 😊
You are welcome
very cool feature!
Good work. I wish you had shown how the old bushings sounded while it was running. Would have been quite the before after comparison.
go get a metal coffee can and put a golf ball in it and shake it back and forth, that
Yeah, that's a pretty accurate description
Great tool watch
👍❤🇮🇶
Mine was stolen.
How's it holding up?
Well sadly we sold the truck awhile ago, but it held up fine while we had it.

Philippines price in pesos how much this watch in the stores👍😃
the watch is already out of the market and its obsolete.
buy the modern protrek watches model and it has the same features such as temperature in your body when you stick your watch to your skin and it can read also the sorrounding temp.
they looked so cool back then.
👍👍👍
Had one just like it in late 90’s. Favorite bike I Everett had. Put over 20k miles on it.
Where's the fork boots?
They were split and I hadn't installed the new ones yet in this video. They are on now but the bike has moved on to a new owner. Thanks for asking!
@@delwood77 Just curious, was the 250 ok for short hiway trips?
@@j-l8404 As a 230lb meathead it wasn't good on the highway for me. Really fun around town with an SV650 shock to handle my weight. The new owner is a 130lb female that loves taking it all over, including the highway. Race Tech cartridge emulators in the front forks transforms the handling, making it amazing.
@@delwood77 Awesome, Thanks for your response. I used to have a KLR, looking at some used bikes atm. Had an SV650 also haha.👍
Very looking bike. I have one but was taken apart by a mechanic sometime ago. Unfortunately he passed away. So now I am in the process of putting it back by myself. It is difficult to get partsfor this model in my country Malaysia. Had ordered some on ebay. Hope to complete the buildup soon.
