Why you should buy your next home NOW!
Thank you, I was wondering why the racetrack had closed.
History Miami (County entity) will take over the property and create a new Miami Museum honoring the city, Lolita and attracting throngs of tourists. We’ll see!
Did not need the music while you were talking...
Reno!
Great video
I went yesterday to see whats left of the Shops and restaurants... I found that AMC Movies, Barnes & Nobles booksellers & LA Fitness are still open. Hopefully that the new owners can revive the mall.
It might be full of office space like what happened to its sugar
I used to go buy my weekly comic book fix from A&M Comics back in the late 1970's until 2000's. I thought the store closed down. But to my surprise last week my nephew & I called to see if they were open. I took my nephew to buy a few dozen comics from a long box. The store hasn't change at all. brought back so many memories. The smell of books & comics are the same as 20 years ago. The only issue that I had was that its entrance. I now use a power wheelchair and there is still no ramp to get in.
Remember Body Works?
Very cool, meng
They need to renovate this theater badly. It needs a new marquee and bring in rock concerts.
😂 Promo SM
I worked at Burdines West Palm Beach store 20. From 1995-2000. Some of my best memories 😊
That’s amazing. I remember going to Burdines when I was very young. I miss it, so much nostalgia haha
I used to work there around 2014 at the former Virgin store site at a gaming company. Hated the company, loved working in the mall.
Very interesting. Thanks.
Should have made a historical monument out of it.. Very sad to see it torn down...
My name is Liz but I am writing this under Adrian’s account and I just want to say that this is extremely creamy and I wish you the best and what are you this Friday? I’m going to be, actually I don’t know yet, but I hope something something for you in the near future. I love you

Love this city best place on Earth thanks for the vid
Love it! Spent my Vacation in Brickell 2 weeks ago and I can't wait to return. My fav experience was the Yacht tour 😃
Great video!
FL 🏆
Burdines. Great lost to Florida
Great place. I always take my out of town visitors there.
Aside from the astronomical rent there that garage killed the mall
Much is for parking
Great video. Well done and said. Thanks for posting. As usual, no one really cares. Its gone. Water under the bridge in the usual Miami tide of moving on to stay presumptuously relevant, but still mostly irrelevant, to the rest of the country or especially to its own history.
The Spanish lost Florida the first time after the 7 Years War,1763 not 1721.The Video is quite good, except Miami is only the 11th largest port in the USA for cargo .LA and NYC dwarf Miami in cargo; Yet We are the largest for Cruises,

Those pictures of the express store took me back! Thanks for keeping a record of Miami's history here :) By any chance do you have a photo gallery archive of the malls change's over time? I would like the same for the other "my block" videos, if possible. Thanks again!
Great content - thank you!

Great video! I was young while they were still open but I remember loving the tall, metal palm trees.

This is the one.
So sorry to see it go...the Jamaican pork chop was my favorite. I was really looking forward to a meal at Ortanique next time I get to Miami...thanks to Covid it may be a long time. And, too late for that superb restaurant.
