Hey Sean i hope you get this. I've been doing some photo/video stuff for musicians and brands in Europe but im thinking of moving to Bali. I'd looove to shoot youtube and social media stuff for creators but im not comfortable of having a personal brand just yet. Do you have any advice on how to start networking with content creators and youtubers without having my own personal brand? I dont have any network and find hard time finding ways to network with this new industry. Thanks!

Totally get the everyday Christmas vibe with amazon products. Love the look of your new camera gear. From what I've seen you're a bit of an equipment weight weenie -is this new camera gear heavier/heavyish? Been playing with the idea of a third everyday filming camera apart from my 2 canon eos m50's. I just feel like there's so much more potential that can only sometimes be captured by having the right technology, even if it's just to capture that ONE special shot. Still, I often get tripped up by prices. Is it really worth it?

Yo Sean! Love your videos, and I will post my suggestion one more time. Some of your audio has a lot of reverb. I have been using the plugin dxRevive from FxFactory. You literally just 'dump it' on your footage in your editor and it will fix your audio automatically. It works like magic! I use Final Cut Pro, but it's available for Premiere Pro and Davinci Resolve too.

I always appreciate your perspective of the creative process and how you infuse new ideas into your art. Personally, I love everything about being a content creator. Boredom is my greatest incentive to create. I'm always trying to find new ways to film, edit, and script a story. I also enjoy climbing out on a limb and challenging my audience on ideas and subjects that aren't always relevant to my channel but are highly relevant to life. People don't always get me - but that's the whole point of art. We don't always create art to educate but to instigate and evoke new thoughts and feelings in others. I try not to put too much focus on the end destination (views, likes, subscribes, revenue, etc) but instead focus on the growth I experience as a result of taking this path. Every day in every way I am constantly pushing myself to new limits. Through their art, every content creator reveals their perspectives of the world and how they think and feel about themselves in that world. I'm in it for the personal growth and development that results from the process. That is how I keep things light and fun. The only down side for me is that, in past, because I had a really old computer (2008), and because the computer didn't have the processing ability to run the editing software efficiently, editing a 5 minute video literally took DAYS, which was incredibly frustrating, exhausting, and depleting. For that reason I simply cannot stress enough the importance of updating your computer technology - because let's face it, you can have all the most recent camera, lens and lighting gear, and a great story and backdrop in which to tell your story, but if your technology is outdated, your ability to bring your content to fruition is severely hindered.

It's NOT in the Dolomites :) It's in Austria, in the Stubatal (Stubai Valely), above the Grawa waterfall (this glacier lake is the Blaue Lacke) I've been both here and in the Dolomites as well,

I honestly still love Bali. I will keep spending time here every year. But it is definitely more busy than usual.

How is it working out for you down there so far? Are there any unexpected hurdles you have had to work through?

You were in the part of Croatia with the strongest wind in Europe. Next time try north - Istria (cultivated) or go more south (wildish). Definitely islands. Be mindful about camping rules (as you can be fined) and specifics of the areas (minefields etc.). Definitely you were not blessed with the weather of the area you chose to go. Good luck!

I totally get it. Life gets sooooo busy when you're managing multiple projects as well as trying to live your regular life - it's hard not to get everything you want done in a week, let alone a day. But, you keep on keeping on. Wow - that wind was whipped!! And the horse scene was serene. Thanks. Overall it looked like a lot of fun.

Such an awesome journey Sean. To quote John Dewey, ""Life is a great adventure, or it is nothing." My husband & I did the same thing 24 years ago. We travelled across Canada & the USA for 5 months in our 1996 Honda Civic hatchback alternating between sleeping in the car and in a 2-person pup tent. Total cost of our journey - $2,000.00 Canadian. Gas was cheap back then. Met a lot of interesting people. Saw a lot of amazing natural beauty. Cooked all our meals on a camp stove single burner. Herded antelopes and bison with our car. Bathed naked in remote lakes. Got the car stuck on various beaches multiple times. Woke up to ice inside the tent and all over our sleeping bags. Such fun times!! Would do it all again in a heartbeat! Alas, I never took a single photograph or created a single video. That's why I so appreciate anyone who vlogs their life and their adventures. Live. Laugh. Love. Have fun, and enjoy the life you are living. Thanks for sharing. 🥰
