Awesome! I am planning on doing a similar project on my sons pedal tractor. Do you have some more details on how you made the conversion, and maybe some photos showing how it is mounted? Did you use the existing axle and gear, or did you mount the motors directly to the wheels somehow?
No photos but I removed the original axle and sprocket, made a wooden frame to reinforce the plastic body. The wheels need to be independent of each other so they won’t be under stress while turning. Then I used two threaded rods. The gear boxes are the secured on the outside with washer and lock nut on the axle. Made the wheels stick outside the fenders but that just makes it mire stable and look better. I used two 770 12v mustang motors and gear boxes and three 6v batteries to get 18volts, If you can find 24v rated switches they can stand the voltage. I added a 30amp fuse. Good luck!
