Rugby is not just the national game in South Africa, it's almost a religion. The USA had nothing to be ashamed of. They played with passion, they were all heart. But their skill and power levels could be no match for the Springboks. It won't always be like this. Rugby is gaining great popularity in the USA, and its only a matter of time before the national team starts achieving significant results. I've seen it happen with Italy and, even more markedly, Argentina. Rugby is a terrific game which unites nations, fans and players in camaraderie, unlike soccer which seems to end up with fans fighting eachother (in England and Europe anyhow).
