Hi, sorry I have no idea what Unreal text to speech is. Is that an app? I used boox tab mini c to read books and manga and to take note most of the time.

@@alfalfasnow I think it's text to speech voice or software (Im not familiar with digital terms, sry), like google text to speech but with their own. I saw it in one of tab mini c review from RUclips.

​@Sandy-ne3gw I see. I myself have a bit of problem with tech as well. I can use it in simple way only. I didn't even think about trying the speaker of this device. Using it without sound all the time. 😂

​@@Sandy-ne3gwbattery life is not as good as normal e reader. I have to charge every 3/4 days even though I read books and manga only. I turn off WiFi most of the time and read offline. Now I replaced it with kobo libra color. Cux I realised that I dun read manga online as much as I thought I would be.

Hi I use default setting Dark color enhancement 30 Vividness Enhancement 0 Color brightness 0 Refresh mode : balanced I adjusted setting a little bit at 4:35 to see better color. But I couldn’t make it. 😅

7.8” fits well in a hand and good for reading daily manga. I dun have tab ultra. But I used to read manga on iPad 11” and pc. I can’t hold iPad too long to read. However I am still reading manga on my pc and iPad sometime. I will recommend 7.8” for manga if you dun have other usage on the e reader like note taking and reading newspaper or magazines.

@alfalfasnow is there a reason you sometimes use your PC and other tablet? I kind of already use oled screens too much, and would like less eye strain. Thanks for answering

⁠@@ManiZachyes, I read it on my pc or iPad when I want to read manga in hd on big screen. But very selective, not every manga nor every chapter of the manga. Another reason is when I browse through manga to look for which one I should read next. I’ll just read a few chapters on my pc Cux it’s way faster to read on my pc. But what you said is right. Eye strain is the problem. I can’t read too long on my pc/iPad as much as I can read manga on e reader. If you read a lot, e reader is a must have device.

I read manga with Tachiyomi on my Nova Air 2, it's 7.8" and it's pretty ok imho, a little bigger than an actual manga. I'm really tempted to upgrade to the Tab Mini C though, such fast refresh and way less ghosting!

I have never read manhwa/Manhuas before. Can you suggest me website or app to read? I can try it out and tell you my opinion.

So what is your opinion after a while using it ? Are you happy with the purchase ? Is there any frustrating things?

@@romanr.b.7821yes. I am very happy with my purchase. I used to read manga on pc and iPad only. But this e reader is really convenient for me to carry and read anytime anywhere. It is a bit heavier compare to my previous kindle. But that is not and issue for me. I read more manga recently since this e reader isn’t hurting my eyes. So honestly it’s a great purchase if u dun have an e ink reader to read manga yet.

​@@romanr.b.7821 Hey! So I've just done a ton of research and decided to get the Boox Nova Air2 - the one without a color screen. I am prioritizing the high contrast ratio offered by the nova air series - by adding the color layer, it actually darkens the whites a bit, making them appear more grey than usual. Since I'm getting it primarily for manga, I don't think I'll need color that often. That said, the Tab Mini C is also really great! it just has different priorities.

Glad that you found the one you like. I always wanted to have color e reader and this one is perfect for me.
