    So I went to acupuncturist and she did mugwort burning on my knee she told me it was going to sting and leave a scab. It hurt/burned really bad and left 6 burned dots on my knee just like she said. She just burned pieces of the mugwort onto my knee but I didn’t see. The acupuncture needles were in my knee when she did it.

    I recently started acupuncture for stress/anxiety that had caused a hormonal imbalance with my thyroid (yes, stress makes us sick!) I had been treating it with traditional western medicine aka drugs and was sick and tired of having the symptoms "controlled" but not cured. Acupuncture has helped waaaay more than a year of medical treatment, believe me! I also do reiki. Anyhow, without fail after each acu treatment I feel lightheaded, and 24 hours later, I cry and cry for no apparent reason. It's a fantastic emotional release!!

    I had my acupuncture appointment at 1.30-2.30 today. Later in the day, I started feeling frustrated that my neck was hurting where a needle was, and worried that the settings were too low during the appointment and then I just started crying for no reason in the evening. So glad to know it’s normal but god I hate it when people see me cry 😂 why did the emotional reflex kick in later and not right after the appointment? My mom’s blaming Naproxen for the side effects I have but I don’t think so?

    Hold on it literally is pseudoscience. It’s based on qi. Qi is claimed to be an energy by Chinese medicine. Ok so if that’s true they must have measured a force of energy one day and decided “I gotta figure out what this energy is I discovered. I’m going to call it qi”. But that’s not what happened. Somebody made up qi and it has never been measured. It’s never been observed. Unlike gravity, electricity, magnetism, all the others, this is the only form of energy in history that is undetectable. Pretty strange. Those who pedal Chinese medicine often say things very confidently. Your metal energy is too low and I’m sure that’s why you feel sick. This is made up. This has no basis in logic or evidence or really anything at all. It was just said by somebody. It is absolutely pathetic you think this stuff has a single lick of efficacy. It literally takes a 5 year olds level of logic to deduce this doesn’t work. It’s just like homeopathic medicine. It is impossible for homeopathic medicine to work because it’s so diluted there is no medicine left at all. Literally. Chinese medicine is equally stupid. They have never used evidence to determine their random ass witch’s potion remedies do anything. Accupuncture has been proven years ago to not work at ALL for what Chinese medicine people say, it’s only good for a handful of selective nerve problems. The rest is placebo. These people are making it up as we go along. I went to a Chinese medicine dude and he looked at my tongue and said I had too much metal energy and stuff like that. It is MADE UP. I just cannot fathom there are people this retarded out there. What else do you go to the chiropractor too? Loser

    How many sessions should it take to cure insomnia?

    • @ABetterPace
      @ABetterPace 2 года назад

      Hi Mike, thanks for your question! As I mentioned in the video there’s not a definite answer to that. There are so many variables with insomnia that it’d be best to speak to a qualified practitioner & let them give you an idea for your particular case. It really could be anything from 6 weeks to a year so it’s hard to say…😁

    Hi, Does ingesting mugwort have the same Benefits as moxibustion ? Please help 🙏

    • @ABetterPace
      @ABetterPace 2 года назад

      Hi there, honestly I have no idea and I would t like to say because I’m not a trained herbalist. What I can tell you is that the health benefits from moxibustion come from an infrared wave that triggers a physiological response in the tissues so based on that the mugwort wouldn’t have the same effect. Best to consult with a herbalist or Chinese medicine herbalist if you need any more info, what country do you live in, perhaps I can help you find someone to clarify things near you…😁

    It would be interesting if I were to laugh afterwards (recovering from burnout and breakdown). I usually feel really tired, yet I feel calm and optimistic. Yesterday, I walked 45 minutes home after my session because I just needed to move my body and settle the qi. Today, am tired and my sinuses have blocked again, but hopefully doing some tai Chi wil help me to balance out. Muscle soreness as well. It's a holistic thing, balancing the health.
