@ukekid45 Its the system my good man. The sleishman system allows the shell to resonate at its fullest potential, as well as allowing the top and bottom heads to work together, as opposed to how lugged drums work where the heads are fighting against eachother most of the time.

@TheMASDrummer Oh congrats man, I was going to enter but unfortunately I had an ankle injury. Keep going at it man, keep nagging your dad :), I started playing when I was your age in 2000 and I didnt get my first kit until I was 17...that happened because I stopped accepting NO from my dad and bought a kit. the only practice I got was on a practice pad or at school, now I practice 4 hours a day lol. have Fun man and good luck ;)
