I am sad to announce that Walter has passed away
My dad and I (from Michigan) would love to restore the Packard Twin Six and get it back on the road! Is it available by chance? Love the video.
Well, Thank you. AND, an AVANTI rotting away, also…………..so interesting, IF much of the hoard can be used/ saved.
Good candidates for restomods.
This is beyond crazy / unbelievable, with even a Packard inspired russian GAZ-13
👍👍👍✌️❤️🇨🇦
Hey Walter, good to see ya
This like Dave rapp place up in Hancock ny
Wow love it brings me back in time when my dad had all the older vehicles in his barns, and I'm a country girl and love this stuff, thanks for sharing this 👍☺.
This is truly the "O.M.G." of barn finds! Many times its questionable whether it is truly a real "barnfind"....but not this time. Still in the barn, with proof!
As a teen I used to mow an old lady's yard and take care of the property to make money .The place used to be an old farm and was sold to developers but for her 5 acres with a big old barn on it one day I came to mow the yard and a stranger answered the door .It was 1 of her daughters .She told me to come inside .this is when i found out her mom had past away .I felt very sad she and i had become good friends .This is when i learned how much .In her will she had left me all the contents of the barn .until then i had never been inside .we went together to the barn and went inside I was overwhelmed there were cars , tractors and all manor of farm equipment .some dating back to the 30's this all happened in 1974 .her family were kind enough to let me use the barn as a shop while i sorted and fixed and sold most everything .they were in no hurry .And yes there was a Packard I took a lot of the money and poured it back into fixing the cars and farm equipment to sell .word got out about all this one day an old man came to the barn .well as you may have guest he saw and wanted the Packard .we talked it over and why he wanted that car in particular come to find out that was the same year and model of his first car .The sale price ? $100.00 and the first ride with him .After that we became good friends i got my $100 .00 dollars and the ride . and a new friend .when he passed away I was very sad and when i found he had willed me the car I cried like a baby .Life moves on and a collector found me some time latter and offered me a lot of money for the car sight unseen .i refused and showed him and took him for a ride as i told my story of the car .He doubled the price I could hear my old friend laughing in my head and saying sell it I smiled and said ok .
love Packard's and I can even claim to have owned at least one in my youth. I knew a guy who did the same thing, went around small towns in the US asking Studebaker dealers if they had parts stock they'd like to get rid of. He has piles of it.
My goodness, what a hord. Hope these vehicles are restored and see the road again.
A 6 minute video that doesn't show anything about its title until 2 minutes in.
I have a Canadian built 39 Packard 120 here in BC that I have been looking for parts for it for years! I would love to meet this guy!!
Walter used to work for my father 30+ years ago he lives in Ontairo
Just restomod it.
@@garryferrington811 It already is. But I still need many parts..
You guys talk like you found gold these cars need COMPLETE restorations hundreds of thousands of dollars. They are in terrible condition terrible
They ARE gold IMO! Pre war Packards are EXTREMELY rare here in Canada in any condition, especially the Packards that were made here in Canada..
wow.
Take the favorite n restore it with funds from selling off the others . Easier said than done aye?
Is the old guy gonna part with these cars? Damn shame for them to sit there
Packard and Avanti !! Now all you need to do is win the Lotto so you can restore them !!!
Wow...
Gorgeous!
be happy to make an offer on the R2..... Thanks
All your family farms are out of business too huh?
Shhhh. Mossier Castreau might be listening.
VERY COOL stash!! Thank you for posting this.
Where to even start to clean out those cars ...great find !!!!
Diamonds in the ruff! Love these kind of finds. I really enjoy these cars. I saw a 1930 Packard at a museum last year. Beautiful car!. Sparkled like a diamond! I have a video posted about it. Great video! Thanks for posting!
That R2 Avanti round or square headlights? Thank you
Hi..what province is this ?

Magnifica
I don’t know how the owner comes up with the car weighing close to 6,000 pounds. Actual weight is 4,570 pounds and it’s a beautiful vehicle
What a remarkable piece fo machinery! MAGNIFICENT!!You did a wonderful restoration job on a long gone but not forgotten marquee. Dont you wish America could put out a car as grand as this today?
One of all time favorites... the TdF. There was one here in town I could have bought in the early to mid '70's. It was a covered headlight '58... sold for $1800.
Stunning car.
What a gentleman, this is one of the greatest cars, one of my favorites!
I prefer the Citroen Mehari....
It’s so choice. If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up.
Glorious Ferrari ...probably my favourite model of the marque
This couldn't be more La Jolla but it's still great to see someone keeping these works of art going.
I fell in love with this car, as I’m sure many did, when I saw Ferris Bueller’s Day Off at about 10 years old. What a beautiful example and a stunning color.
Yes, drive it! 👍👍
Ed Gilbertson is right! Live him.
The car is awesome, but the stories are even better!!
What car show were you at here?
La Jolla concourse
a very poorly designed rear end
elegant simplicity
