Do yourself a favour and sell the 270WSM for a 7mmMag or PRC something. Not a fan.
Hi , I make the same way for my 270wsm, with Barnes bullet and E tip Nosler, but with european powders. 2 scales too .😊
Geez...I have been reloading my hunting bullets for over thirty years. I never seen someone use so much gadgets before to perform this same task.
easy vid to watch. thanx!
Great video! I miss cruising the Gulf Islands. I’d love to get a Willard like yours someday.
How many grains of RL22 did you load ?
Is this a kit, or did you make it from scratch?
Thanks for the video. That was a great trip. You’ll have to come out again in 2024
I could kiss you for making this, I have a tikka chambered in .270wsm and I’m tired of calling around for ammo.
Sell the WSM. You won't find reloading products readily available. Buy a 6.5 PRC instead and buy all the ammo you want online. It's real simple. Type into Google and then purchase. I have two 6.5 PRCs. In my 24 inch Bergara I'm getting almost 3000 fps with the 143 eldx. In the 130 grain terminal ascent I'm around 3180...in factory ammo sub moa all day. I wont tell you what my 26 inch barrel is doing it would hurt your feelings lmao. So what point is there scrounging and hoping to find ammo or components if you can buy cases online?
@@Manbunmen65 lol ammo is in stock around me in stores now and selling an buying a new gun sounds like loosing money/ spending more. I’m not a pro shooter I just need to put a deer down every few years till I’m old and can’t get too the stand. Two shots every 2 years for another 50 years and I have a few hundred rounds
That would make a great pronghorn and muley load. What velocity are you getting?
I have never found accu-bond bullets for the 270 around here I did get some magpro powder I am going to try in my 270 wsm and some 140 grain hornady interlock bullets I see you use reloaded 22 and you get good accuracy what is your velocity with your load
Velocity is consistently 3141 fps. I used a conograph.
Try the barnes tsx130 they shoot 1 inch at 200 yards in my 270wsm
Congrats, you've got to be excited knowing the savings on reloading wsm is tremendous. Good video...really liked the titles overlay on the die box label ...excellent.👍
I’ve been reloading for just over 45 years. It has always been a hobby, but today it really is a means to save to shoot more. The cost of ammunition is crazy. However reloading components is starting to get expensive as well. Cheers.
Have you tried any of the 150s or 165s ablr out of your 270wsm
No I have not. Just 130 and 140 Nosler Accubonds. They perform very well so I’ve never looked at anything else.
Nice project .. Would be interesting to try out.
Beautiful work
Where did you find the elevations for the Officer's mess, building 1072?

Cool
I was in A company 3 PPCLI and was on that parade (1987), it was the first in the new tan DEU uniforms. We marched to city hall, the CO banged on the door with the pommel of his sword, we got the freedom of the city from mayor, fixed bayonets and marched back to Work Point.

I usually use either a minnow head or just a tail. Rarely a whole salted minnow.
