My channel started out over ten years ago with the main goal of sharing sights along the Shoreline route of the old New York , New Haven, and Hartford Railroad line. My channel has grown into a conglomeration of all types of train sightings from all over the Northeast United States. I took a 5 year break to focus on life goals and now that I have the time to create and upload again, I plan on taking full advantage of my time to devote to my youtube channel! AEM-7 #917 - One Last Ride
AEM-7 #917 third in trail behind the P&W leaders heading from Davisville RI to Worcester MA this morning. The 917 formerly property of Amtrak and workhorse of the busy NEC for over 30 years will be heading to its new home at the Danbury Railroad Museum. This will be the final time #917 will traverse the NEC.

Amtrak 174 (3) glides past Beebe Cove into ”The Point” in Groton, CT The locomotive is sporting the new Harry Potter or “POTTER” livery as a promotion for Broadways “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” which will open later this month.

Train number 93 is operating over an hour behind schedule and as a result is sent to track three at Kingston, RI. Acela train 2163 isnt far behind but the move allows for them to get back up to track speed rather than eat their markers the entire way to New York City. Two Northeast Regionals skipping Kingston at track speed. Train 85 and 184 respectively added to the schedule on April 25, 2022. This is the first time in recent memory that regional service hasn't stopped at Kingston station. The only exception being during Thanksgiving week when Amtrak operates an increased capacity schedule.

What was the loco number of the AEM-7. The quill almost made it sound like a hybrid "hybrid" K5LA. It sounded like a narrow font hybrid K5, then switched to a normal first gen K5la.

I hope the yard doesn't run out of space anytime soon. Danbury does have a lot of decent stuff, and I'm glad this is among them.

I’m am pleased that 917 is one of the survivor for Amtrak’s former fleet. and Danbury will be its natural life in display.

I went train watching at the William F. Walsh Regional Transportation Center in Syracuse, New York on that day and I caught most of the trains in this video.

That js not bypassing its an express train wether its title is the acela which in this case its the acs-64 which does not need to stop at Kingston station if its not a stop on its route. Express trains do not stop all stops and stay at high speeds longer. Weather northeast regional or acela.
