Looks really nice, and I like the simple design. Over priced though, and rather have a De Guzman with an automatic movement and better value for money if I am going for a Filipino microbrand.

Thank you for the informative and honest review. Although I love the watch and its history I am like you having some difficulty with its height esp compared to its diameter. There have been flatter Portugiesers in the past. And in tropical climate (and even in mediterranian) the strap will suffer. Best regards.

I’m very between this and the green dial , what do you suggest?

Was gonna get one but stumbled across the Laco Heidelberg and got one and love it. For sure not the same class but really cool and different. Much less to purchase and maintain. The Mark xx didn’t feel special on my wrist personally speaking.

Do you recommend the mark xx or Tudor blackbay heritage burgundy bezel?

Love the green dial on the brown leather strap. Very clean and classic style. I wish they still offered the blue dial with the brown strap. The stainless steel bracelet is gorgeous but the price mark up from the leather strap is ridiculous.

Does it have a free-sprung balance?

IWC, slide the '9' and the date window 0.7 mm to the right, L2L 48mm height, then you have an almost perfect watch, at least a better proportion. Thanks.
